Fernando, I wrote to you about 6 month's ago, I was Hector Lavoe's doctor. This composition has become my bible, that is, I watch it every night. After 6 month's you would think the emotional component would be minimal or absent, but near the end when it shows the people glowing & smiling, i get tears in my eye's. Their happiness is my happiness. Bless you, the composition and the people.

Once in awhile my father would begin to sing _En Mi Viejo San Juan_ without prompt…it came to mind as I thought of him and how much I missed him in his passing last year. I search for a good rendition, finding myself here. Thank you. It made me and my siblings cry. I'm grateful for the years we had him.
