This was ATEEZ telling everyone that they don't need a crown to be called kings. They don't mean to be the final winners, but they will surely be the group who surprised everyone, stood out from the starting, made a place and name for themselves in this industry and their country. Now more people know about ATEEZ. They are being acknowledged for their fierceness, their hardwork and their desire to do their best. Hats off to the boys for all their hardwork and dedication. Edit:I don't Stan any of the groups in the competition. I am merely someone who watches the show for the performances. But ATEEZ definitely caught my attention. They have something special about them that keeps me wanting to come back to them again. Believe me when I say this, these boys are going to be huge.

You know when you were given a chance to have "no limits" for a round, most would take it as a hint to do anything in order to win the show. However, this group, ateez, went beyond that and surpassed the limitations of the show itself. They went out of the mindset of competition, and have realized their own definition of winning. Basically, they did not adhere to what the show, kingdom, was expecting of them but they instead went out to express themselves and their passion to those who truly matters... their fans.

Seeing their new comeback this makes a lot of sense to me. IMO, they had the Fever arc done by the time of this show, and everything they learnt from Kingdom, their experimentations, are reflected in The world album. Guerrilla is very different from the regular kpop and I think their Kingdom experience has something to do with it.

Can't believe this ranked last coz ATEEZ really set their ground for their whole Kingdom stint. They laid out a story that was consistent until the end. And this was good, actually.

that`s one of the reason why ateez has a solid fanbase in Europe.

Coming from a family of musicians where "modern pop" is very criticized, I played this on a big screen for my family and friends, they not only loved it but now constantly listen to Ateez for musical inspiration. They truly represent, music, emotion and art coming back to us after years of monotone and numbing sounds on the stage. Hope this continues

I’m A Stay . I have my eyes on Ateez ever since Kingdom.. The emotions are just overflowing and I’m nowhere even close to what they are as a group, nor have any background about them but watching this for the FIRST TIME left me at awe . There is no DENYING THAT THIS PERFORMANCE WAS MORE THAN GOOD . IT WAS AN ART .. A MASTERPIECE I wouldn’t understand why most would call it confusing . There are alot of performances that are confusing in Kingdom so I don’t think that validates the fact that this performance got a last place when it could have been more

Some say that this performance couldn't get any votes because it was for Atinys, some say it was confusing to understand, some say it didn't stand out, some say the remix wasnt good etc etc I legit dont care. This performance was soo SMOOTH. LIKE I LOVED THE COMBINATION OF SONGS. I LOVED THE OPERA SINGERS. NO OTHER GROUP BROUGHT ANY SPECIAL TALENTS. NO ONE DID IT LIKE ATEEZ IN THE WHOLE KINGDOM. I am so impressed with Ateez. They pulled a Katniss Everdeen here. This performance has a very deep meaning. If y'all didn't know Ode to Joy is a 'celebratory poem addressing the unity of all mankind.' The message became clearer when Jongho threw the crown. Kingdom is a competition that will only have 1 winner in the end and they outright went against this and said everyone is a winner, everyone did their best. They continued with this on the next round wherein they raised everyone's flags and just had fun. Mad respect for ATEEZ. I became an atiny after watching them on Kingdom and glad I discovered this very talented group. 👏👏👏

Jongho's vocals are literally incredible in all songs but here they're just indescribable. I'm legit sitting here crying because of just how beautiful and majestic his vocals are. And this is the umpteenth time i've watched this performance and it blows me away every time

I agree, I don't understand their ranking at all. All of ateez stages were beyond poetic with so much effort put into them. And they placed first a few times and did well during no limit so I don't understand their placement in the ranks either. I'm a stay and saying this. The other groups did amazing too but they had so much meaning and work in their performances that I can't not give credit when it's due 😟

Whenever I write "I cried" in a comment before, it was just a figure of speech. But today I actually cried. Not because they received 6th place in the show, but because I could feel their convictions through the screen. I understand why they are doing this now. Watching Ateez on Kingdom has been an emotional roller coaster, I can't imagine what it's been like for them. They must be exhausted. But seeing Jongho throw away that crown just before the last part..... I don't know, I just lost it. I didn't know that a group of young people could touch me like this.

It's a feeling they passed on us... They've always been Sincere towards us like their Love for us, habits, personality and all. Despite all the hardships they have gone through they solved it together and let it go with smile. But now with all the things happening this kingdom war, ranking, all hardworks and response from other... It would have been hard for them... They're just someone I truly cherish... It's just hurt to see them like this.. That's just what I feel... It's hard to express it in words... But I believe you will understand what I wanna say...

The white masked man is trying to get the hourglass,ITS called guardian/android from government And yeosang change the dimentionn before the guardian chase them (the intro in the box) The halateez help them to run and fight the white masked man while gaining their treasure But in answer they just remind what they fought before (you can see hongjoong's rap while the background is Wonderland and rythm ta) but in But ateez didnt know halateez is good before because they taught they r bad but in answer they just realise they r helping and they must burn (joining each other) San did a sacrifice for ateez to gain the crown Thats all i know so they win the fight in answer they got all the treasure (himself)

The worst part is they only got 400 somthing score.. and the 5th position score is literally like 5 times of it.. we need to work hard

The backup dancers in hongjoong's part... They represented the different ATEEZ performances on KD, and Halateez were helping them the whole time 🥺... I've watched this performance like 28 times and I'm only just noticing this detail. WOW.

For the viewers who don't know the featured song: It is called "Ode to Joy" and is a german poetry. It was written by Friedrich Schiller, a very famous poet (was close with Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, another great poet). The famous composer Ludwig van Beethoven took the text and incorporated it into his ninth symphony. So this is a very classical style and I love the boys so much for doing that. PS: I am german so it was kinda strange a the beginning to hear them sing in german XD

i still haven't forget the feelings that i had when i first watched this live like i just cried unconsciously and had chills all over my body. you will also feel the same if you're too deep into their lore, u appreciate the effort they gave into their journey and how they just give us this stage to offer to atinys instead of prioritizing to win this round. this so stage is very meaningful and hold a special place in my heart nothing can replace this.

What makes me mad and so upset with their ranking here is that they used their OWN song and modified it with OPERA singing, which in itself is brilliant. Plus they did not use any "super popular" cameo for the views. They stuck to their storyline and kept it original till the end and they were very innovative with their stage. It was the most original and unique performance of that day! I couldn't help but feel that there was some biased judgment! Even if not the top, this performance by no means deserved the last!! I will always be mad about it and to me, Ateez won this round!! PS: It is so funny to me that the two grps whose performance I liked the best were also the grps who were treated the worst. BTOB and Ateez, it is so evident from the waiting room they were given!

I think that the judges don't like if idols try different genres. The same happened even when Stray Kids tried I'll be your man. These two and Mayfly Vocal unit performances will forever be a LEGEND....

Seriously no hate, I love all the groups in this years competition, but Ateez was by far the most experimentative and expressive group. I mean from reimagining others songs, to stage design, to vocals and dance they where just SO good. I mean they brought in opera singers, started a revolution and where amazing pirates. Yeah they are just incredible. (BUT congrats to SKZ for winning, I am super happy for them)

As Changbin said this performance really has a lingering feeling and that means it wasn't just good but it had emotions that will make you remember it for a long time before it leaves or disappears

The only sad thing about this performance is that in 3 years everyone and their moms will be talking about it. Praising. Calling them kings. But for right now, it went unappreciated and was ranked last (if rumors are correct.) Stay strong current Atiny's. Keep your voices strong and loud. One day you'll look back on this day and will be able to say proudly: I was here before the world acknowledged them as the kings of 4th gen.

ATEEZ KNOWS THEIR CLASSICAL MUSIC!!! Idk if it was intentional, but they used the 4th movement of both Beethoven and Dvorak's 9th symphonies in Kingdom to remix their music. The 9th symphony is both composers's last symphony, and the 4th movement is the final movement of both symphonies. It's some of both Beethoven and Dvorak's most well know work and a culmination of their lifetimes's experience. It is absolutely amazing how perfected they incorporated these excerpts into their own music. As a Kpop fan and a classical musician I've never been happier to see these two genres come together in such a magnificent display. Mad respect to Ateez for mixing classical music into Kpop in such a cohesive manner, everything sounds like they belonged together.

This performance shows a really deep storyline, something only us atinys can understand since we know how ateez's concept goes. ateez really dedicated this performance for us, otherwise, they wouldn't have performed a stage that has a hard storyline for the judges to grasp.

@@annikahearts4467 well theres a lot of stuff going on in the performance but too summarize, basically ateez were trying to save themselves by using the cromer to turn back time, the white masked men were after the cromer and also ateez which results into a war or smthn. It takes too long to explain but if you read the story in FEVER pt.2 diary version, you will really understand hehe

The fact ateez ranked last with a stage like this and consistent storyline through kingdom we all can tell jongho is right to throw kd crown to the floor

It was a very powerful presentation, but in kingdom they don't take that into account. Literally the last part of the song, when they mix opera with a bit of EDM, it took my breath away

its 2024 but still crying at this performance :(

the fact that they did it for their fans still gives me a goosebumps. They did many concepts but this performance left me crying. I do love ATEEZ so much.

Popular opinion: Everyone agrees that ATEEZ is the world Domination.

Maybe the evaluators didn't understand the storyline.. but for atinys this is a work of art PERIOD!

I don't know why.... But I keep coming back here to watch this performance again and again. I literally can't get over this performance till now. I know the show is already over now and ATEEZ is doing better than before but everytime I watched this performance, my heart hurts so much as they were placed in 6th rank for this performance. I hope ATEEZ will always continue to perform ANSWER for ATINY's in every events despite this result in future. Lots of love from northeast Nagaland India 🇮🇳❤️😊

I saw this group for the first time on Kingdom (cuz I'm such an ancient kpop stan like from BtoB era xD) and after every ATEEZ performance, I'm like "Wait why are these guys sooo gooood!?" I'm so glad I discovered the group. Their songs are such a bop!

Im seriously crying. idk why but I just am. As a A-Tiny, this performance just seriously got me. I have been a fan of ATEEZ since the beggining. No, I am not saying this to flex for how long I have been their fan. But being with them has just been fun. I am a multi stan, so I stan many other groups. But ATEEZ is definitley probably one of the best. in my opinion. They are so Passionate, Confident and kind. Other than that they put everything they have in every single one of their performances. And they always turn out to be OUTSTANDING. These boys are just absolutely the best.

I still come back to this because i cant get enough of it and any of their kingdom performances. The fact that they had a storyline from the very beginning and till then and and it even matched with their latest comeback. I just know they put so much thought into their kingdom performances.

I’m veteran melody, but my favorite performance for this week goes to the Ateez. When the opera singers come in, they’re giving me chills. What a jaw dropping performance. And the main vocals (who sings along with Eungkwang, I don’t know his name) is the MVP. His vocals so powerful. Kudos Ateez.

I don’t really know how this performance ranked last because it was soooooooo amazing. Still a favourite for me and it was a beautifully collaboration with LA Poem. I hope they are able to perform this live one day I will lose my mind.
