This is such an extremely nice comment! I checked on Twitter whether this was spread or not, and it was! I also think iKON's performances, especially this one in particular, are beyond Kingdom's! I still can't believe the outcome they got here when they are legendary! I'm not so much of a fan of every group participating in Kingdom, but I do know iKON has lived up beyond standards. Kudos! As an Atiny, I can confidently say that Ikon KILLED this. Their interpretation of inception was one of my favorite performances of the whole show. As both an Atiny and Ikonic, I love how both Ateez and Ikon really formed a friendship through competing on Kingdom together. It just warms my heart as both an Atiny and Ikonic

After a year and am still watching this. Also re-watch every iKON performance in Kingdom.And i suddenly remember YG once said when u covering others artist song, make sure to do it well. like u own the song. And yeah, iKON literally doing what YG told them.

2 years later and i'm still here 🤭🔥 concept is 'reborn' &&&& they really understood the assignment! 🔥🔥 even owned it and killed it!

While Ateez x Atiny would love more to join our family, the main thing is that we are enjoying all of these performances and being supportive when we can. 킹덤 무대 통틀어서 개인적으로 제일 멋있었던 무대였음 멤버 한명한명이 다 돋보였고 원곡이랑 다른게 전혀 어색하지 않고 아이콘이랑 너무 잘 어울리게 편곡했다고 생각함

iKON pays more attention to the music than the stage concept. that's why his music is always alive and never extinct. but here the concept is also very good. Luv iKON & YG

Kings way even before this show started. Just like Bang Chan said, iKon came out to play. Love seeing them perform bec the fact that they are enjoying their stages makes me enjoy it even more. Honestly it always happens whenever they come outta hiatus, I first started to stan iKON back in 2017 and the negativity and hateful stuff that was thrown at them back in those days was unbelievable. It was just so sad, Bling Bling got me into them and it was disgusting at how much hate they got when they released this song. They were getting slandered left, right and centre. Even fans from iKONs senior groups in YG were calling them the companies biggest disappointment. Then 2018 happened and haters finally shut the hell up for a bit but unfortunately the guys just couldn’t have a break for long since what happened in 2019. That was the worst, the first time I ever raged at antis online. I was just getting so frustrated at those who constantly just kept throwing hurtful crap at all the guys. They were like cockroaches, so damn annoying. Luckily it has calmed down now and all the guys seem to be doing fine but really anytime they make an appearance, there’s always antis/!trolls that love to wait for them like us fans. I swear they have some type of disease with the way they’re obsessed with trying to attack the guys. Really pathetic

For me, iKON's performance don't need a lot of props or anything behind them, and even fancy clothes, because their stage presence are more than enough to make their performance perfect and insane! As an Atiny, this is the first time other grup covered my fav Ateez song inception. Inception originally a ballad song but the way ikon interpret it is so beautiful and unique. Never thought inception can be shown in this swag style. Thanxx ikon for giving this song justice

iKON did NOT come to fucking play. they took the already amazing original by ateez and made it their own fantastic piece of music. chanwoo's opening (legitimately one of the most memorable moments of this show), bobby's ad libs, june and jay's harmonies, and dk's and song's voices during this stage were phenomenal. this stage in general will forever be one of my favourites from kingdom PERIOD. proud to be an iKONIC ult. edit!: hey baby iKONICs who've come to love the boys via this show, their new album TAKE OFF will be coming out may 3rd! PLEASE SUPPORT OUR BOYS!

I don't think the other groups are trying new conepts. All of them have their own colour and i haven't seen any of them trying new ones.

y'all i can't even rewatch these amazing performances bc even thinking about kingdom makes me SOOO MAD but also kind of sad that they got such low results despite having some of THE BEST performances and STAGE PRESENSE and delivering so much joy to viewers. i also enjoy some of the other teams' music and im not a super ikon fan or anything but they really deserved higher than what they got. wtf

Thank you iKON for making Ateez Inception trending on Melon after this performance. The public give positive comments about iKON rebirthing although they never heard this song before so they have to look it up.

*for those who are not aware This isn't just all about Ateez's Inception, there's a lot of references to the movie too. 1. The spinning top (used to check if you're in someone's dream) 2. The moving backgrounds (creation of dreams) 3. Bobby's distorted rap scene (happens when the dream is going to end) 4. Bobby's drop after the rap (it is called the 'kick' in the real world to wake up someone from the world of dreams) IKON is so smart. Leonardo DiCaprio will be proud.

From what I see actually an Music Competition isn't just about how fantastic and boommmbastic an performance. But here the one thing most important in Music Competition is...How good the song that the idol group remaked, and how catchy the song they make it. That is one thing Mnet Kingdom Forget about....and From what I see Mnet Kingdom just focus on the Boooombastis sirkus properties and how Hard the idol making noise and shout every part. Then It's not about how good the song floww and how harmony the melody ever part anymore.... And I see iKON just only one team can give us the good song and catchy song, every part of song that they remake has harmony melody, there is no much noise or sound pollution, Even their Vocal Much better than others Their unique Vocal and Powerfull Vocal can't beat by other idol, especially June Husky + Rock Powerfull Vocal. iKON presence their pure talent not the pure properties 😂 iKON not use the properties to shine, thats BIG TRUE... than others they over make up with the prop then the prop can help them to shine 😅and their song too noise, so much pollution sound , most of every part they shout a lot, thats too noise, and make their song not floww and not have harmony melody in every part....

This is true artistry here! They moulded something that was not theirs into their own. Ikon style for sure

"They're just playing" Ofc, the stage is like the playground for YG artists. They never give a damn abt awards or recongnition. Yg training system is notorious. They breed total performers, not just robot-like idols. Artistic abilities are useless in YG if you don't find freedom& enjoyment in performing for your audience, be it your fans or haters. That's why despite the numerous scandals, YG would always rise because they don't perform just to get awards but perform to hype the crowd & make them enjoy every moment. YG is literally the blacksheep in kpop industry.

The best thing about this show is seeing iKON perform LIVE again, showing us their swag presence is back!
