Did you guys realized how hard for YG male group idol if they want debut,,,, Here I give you the Fact : YG boy groups have to be able to compose their own songs, they have to make a masterpiece songs and if the song is good and their capability is also good then they can Debut. - You have to compete with other trainees. but you not only use other singer's songs to cover songs and to get good score and be able to debut....But you are also required to be able to make a masterpiece song, you must be able to compose song, so that you and your group can debut..... - each group will competes in making a good song and whose song is good and is able to present it well then you and your group can debut. And you are the "Perfect All Kill because you are Multitalent" then other can't beat you, ..... 1.See BigBang - For BigBang Gd make their debut song 2.See Winner & iKON while Mix & Match - For winner Seungyoon make their debut song, - for iKON Hanbin make their debut song. 3. See Treasure - for Treasure Asahi make their debut song for boy groups, YG treats them very hard and discipline than girls group. - While idols from other agencies if they want to debut they no need to compose their own song. You no need too hard to make a Masterpiese song then you and your group can debut. Every new group nowadays is called "Monster Rookie" but as someone who doesn't really know iKON I have to say that this is the very definition of Monster Rookie. I didn't see the date and was just enjoying the performance since it came up on my recommended but seeing the date shocked me insanely. I thought this was like around 2017-2018 but 2015??? That's crazy. The way they're able to hype up the crowd and manipulate the crowd (in a good way) is insane. Here even with only debuting that year, they look like a group with 4-5 years experience minimum. But even still with 4-5 years experience it's not easy to be like how iKON are. I gotta praise them for their insane talent. (Just saw that their leader left the group...that's just devastating... he was the one who caught my eye in this performance..I hope he will rejoin them). Time to check out all their other performances

They invested not just in entertainment but also in cosmetics, printing industries, modeling industries, clothing and a lot. Their former CEO has been convicted and a lot of ex yg artists move out YG but that doesnt mean the company also dying.

Yg artists have really different aura. Live stages are their thing. They are like monsters of kpop. Imagine this stage was just after few months of their debut. And look at 2ne1 and bigbang's mama 2015 stage. Dude. No joke

Came here after TREASURE performance in MAMA 2022; AWARDS show turns into CONCERT show, A YG thing. DAMNNN siblings indeed!!

Kpoppers nowadays calling new groups as monster rookies, but you can’t call rookie groups as monster rookies if they didn’t won all ROTY awards in all of the year end korean music awards. Little did they know ikon started the trend of monster rookies when they won all ROTY and Best New Artist awards in KOREA, JAPAN and CHINA in their debut era. They are the only group to do that, that’s why they are also called the Grandslam monster rookies. Imagine if yg did better in promoting them in korea and didn’t ship them to do japan dome tours early in their careers, they would’ve been so big rn. the only good thing that happened is that they are well recognised in japan and sells out all their dome tours every time. Like, they have the biggest fandom in Japan and j-ikonics are actually the most loyal ikonics out there.

Denz Gilraich Balane i agree, since Hanbin left, there’s something missing in ikon that I can’t really describe. The music he produced for ikon is just so unique that no one could replicate it, even Bobby or DK as they are the ones writing music for ikon now. Even the charisma and charm of ikon left when hanbin was kicked out. Don’t get me wrong I’m a hardcore ikonic, B.I is my bias, but tbh, I can’t even watch ikon ot6 perfs until this day. I guess, I’m not ready yet coz Hanbin’s print is all over ikon atleast for me.

If only YG did not waste their talents and the limelight, they must be so BIG right now. They were very famous during their debut era. MONSTER ROOKIES. But YG send them to Japan. Almost no comeback, no appearances on variety shows. Then eventually K-iKONICS have forgotten them and when they got back their popularity because of Love Scenario, Hanbin left.. my heart aches for them.. I hope one day they comeback and show people what they can do! What iKON can do! Lets support them co-iKONICS!! And please be happy my babies! 2019 anyone? Came here after watching the successful debut of Ateez and Stray Kids. But hey, I realised that ikon still holds the best rookie performance at MAMA. They’re just barely 3 months old during this perf but damn, they slayed. Imagine how big ikon is now if yg promoted them well. But, damn all those japan dome tour did them well, they’re so comfortable performing at big events now. All their concerts are so dope!

Now our boys have a strong foothold on Japan, having concert every now and then, even had two concert in a day but still JP ikonics still supports them, the story behind is such a roller coaster but its all worth it. Every setback is a preparation for a great comeback and look at what we've got ❤.

@@12THIRTY I am sorry but iKON was not revolving only around B.I right? The other 6 boys are still working hard for us, apologise every day to us, feel guilty because of us. B.I always made sure to protect his 6 brothers, and we iKONICS have to protect what Hanbin left us with. Seeing iKON rise again, will make Hanbin so Proud of them! These things would only make them feel as if they are not "good enough" for us and make them feel unappreciated. All iKON has is iKONICS. If we cant even show them love then shame on us as a fandom. :(

Apology with their emotional vocals and rapping, Rhythm Ta with their charisma, cool visuals, and stage presence. Already so threatening even in their rookie days! YG artists never fail to uphold the explosive YG energy.

No complex stage setting, no complex song- rearrangement, no background dancers (except in Anthem part), iKON's performance is still on fire as hell. I think even if there are only DoubleB in their Anthem stage, their energy and talent are enough to slay it

Once you stan YG artists you can never go back!!! I mean they all have the swag

On the list its only Cl (the leader of 2ne1) is announced to only perform on that event but eventually all four legendary girls showed and hyped up the stage and everyone went crazy and shook😎

2015 is YG's strongest year by far.

Bobby in his trainee and debuted days is just different, man. He was so aggressive and full of confidence. I missed this Bobby.

2018, anyone? Years have passed but this is still the best stage by rookies in the new generation. iKON was born with that stage presence. A tru yg artist indeed. Y’all fight me if you didn’t agree.

A time when fans actually consider their idol's juniors as family. So happy to have this video as proof of YG family even among the fandom. If I'm not mistaken, iKON was still a rooky group here, hence the absence of konbats. This is such a good performance and a demonstration of a good and confident fandom who did not feel threatened with the existence of a monster rookie

Did you guys realized how hard for YG male group idol if they want debut,,,, Here I give you the Fact : YG boy groups have to be able to compose their own songs, they have to make a masterpiece songs and if the song is good and their capability is also good then they can Debut. - You have to compete with other trainees. but you not only use other singer's songs to cover songs and to get good score and be able to debut....But you are also required to be able to make a masterpiece song, you must be able to compose song, so that you and your group can debut..... - each group will competes in making a good song and whose song is good and is able to present it well then you and your group can debut. And you are the "Perfect All Kill because you are Multitalent" then other can't beat you, ..... 1.See BigBang - For BigBang Gd make their debut song 2.See Winner & iKON while Mix & Match - For winner Seungyoon make their debut song, - for iKON Hanbin make their debut song. 3. See Treasure - for Treasure Asahi make their debut song for boy groups, YG treats them very hard and discipline than girls group. - While idols from other agencies if they want to debut they no need to compose their own song. You no need too hard to make a Masterpiese song then you and your group can debut. This and Bigbang’s performances are still on my MAMA top list. Hypes me up everytime. iKON deserves more promotion especially nowadays!

I was wondering what sets iKON apart from other group and why I easily get bored watching performance other than YG groups and a few others. And I think I've found the answer. It's passion. I know they always sing live, but what makes them unique is they sing ALIVE. Their performance has souls because of their microexpression, the way their bodies swing along to the music, the versatile rap which full of emotion, and their vocal may not be the best technically but they sing with raw emotions as if every performance is their last. iKON's teamwork is great, they can pull off a difficult choreography but what I love the most is they can dance in sync without losing their own signature move. Seriously, their dance is not like some robots dancing together, it's like seven passionate boys burning the stage. I really want to support them for a long time because they are continuously improving and I am excited to see to which point they'll improve if the starting point is already this high.
