The boost recuperation system (BRS) from Bosch combines four efficient functions to create a sophisticated holistic system. Besides the integrated recuperation, combined with the boost and coast function, the BRS provides an innovative add-on to conventional start-stop systems. As an entry-level electrification variant, it plugs the gap between start-stop systems and full hybrids.
The four main functions which the driver notices directly:
1. BRS charges the battery during braking thanks to recuperation
2. BRS boost function helps move off and accelerate
3. BRS improves driving comfort thanks to a quiet, jolt-free start-stop function
4. BRS delivers a new, low-noise driving experience thanks to the coast function

Because of this and many other things i want to work in the bosch.

While coasting if the engine is off how are you managing vaccum assisted booster brakes? The brakes become spongy and it does not apply when your engine is off.
I know that everybody has their own opinion on how a car should drive but tbh when i drive and this system kicks in i don't like it because, when i press the gas a little, the engine jumps and gives torque i did not ask for. My car then jumps and makes the acceleration uncomfortable. This does not put me in any accident situations but it just makes it a little harder to accelerate.

+Boris Racer The BRS systems supports the combustion engine within the acceleration. But the support by the BRS is not digital, like no support or 100% support. We are able to support the combustion engine according to the need of the driver up to a certain limit. So the acceleration will be as comfortable as before but on a higher level.
+Bosch Mobility Solutions Is this a retrofitting kit or is this something featured on a new cars only?

This is only available for manufacturers as the software together with the engineering application work, has to be tailored to the individual vehicle.
