Just purchased Emvoice. Great product. I used Vocaloid 1, Leon and Lola for many years to provide a medium for online rehearsals of different choral voices. Those products had many of the same features, but Emvoice is definitely a step up in many, many ways. Hope they come out with more voices with different vocal textures and suited specifically for different ranges, e.g., Tenors/Basses/Sopranos/Altos.

Thank you for your feedback! We're working on pop voices at the moment but we'll release a vocal ensemble in late 2022 hopefully.

Just the other day, I was thinking, "It would be so nice if you could assign lyric vocals to MIDI notes." Well, now you can! So now, I can take sheet music, scan it, convert it to Music XML, convert those notes to MIDI, and use Emvoice as a VST plugin inside my DAW of choice to produce vocal audio samples (SATB) for a score. This is a gamechanger!

sounds cool and pretty easy to edit the female voice is definitely better and more useful to me than the male voice I don't do a lot of trance/techno but the female voice just lends itself to that those styles

This is epic. I only wish this were all on my desktop rather than cloud/server based. Maybe in future? Amazing work. This is how l wished Realivox Blue worked when I started using it. This is soooooo much easier to use.

Looks amazing. Hope it comes out on ios for garageband soon.

I hope you guys can help make some type of vibrato simulator in later versions. But everything else is very impressive so far

can it be used to arrange multiple voice choir?

The song couldn't be heard when he is talking at the same time and the song is compressed down. The demo version is limited to only 8 half notes, impossible to test the program and get an idea if it works well.

If the song is compressed down, it has nothing to do with our plugin. Please check your settings.

This might be a dumb question but how do i get my window to show the note names? it only shows C0,C1,C2,C3,C4,C5 and i can't find any way for the UI to display the note's names like in your video

You can create custom pronunciations for words but you can't change the sounds themselves. There's a new voice coming up. Thanks!

Would love to try it but it is constantly crashing Cubase .. and when it runs no Sound comes out

It sounds sort of good in the background, but I wish you would play the voice itself at louder volume & minus the reverb, after playing a section of the track. IMO right now it is a bit too muffled under the reverb.

why does it still have issues rendering? I use Mixcraft9 and when I render out the full track with EMVoice. Emvoice will go out of tune and tempo will be waay off. please help

Promising... I must be missing something because there are no voices in the demo, only on G2 and D3. You have to buy it to hear how it really works. For $199.00 USD, I certainly need to know how it would perform in real situations. Hmmm. Promising but... Good luck!

After using it for a bit, I realize there is a limit to the number of notes/syllables per recording section; that is, you have to separate the 20th note from the 21st note. Otherwise, you get an error (too many notes). It doesn't make sense because each note by default has the supplied syllable "La".

Thanks for bringing this up! You're right, there is a limit to how many notes/syllables can be held in a single continuous vocal region. We have a new feature coming out in a few weeks which should make this a bit easier to work with... Stay tuned for more information as it comes out :)

Hi, I'm new to Emvoice and there seems to be a problem: The notes are not shown as in the video but must of the time contain of flickering coloured Pixels which is very irritating to work with. Running it in Logic on Mac version 11.2.2 Big Sur. Any ideas?

I keep trying to download the free demo from the website, but it doesn't seem to be installing anything from the setup file. It says it's done after about two seconds, but can't actually find the software from anywhere.

I have an issue, where whenever I open emvoice, it says it's reconnecting to the emvoice servers, I've tried rebooting my pc, disconnecting, and reconnecting, as well as reinstalling it. Help?

same as always, it would be facile to platform free voice sharing, except that the vst sdk would be updated or my work would be otherwise obscured. syng3 was a free, 7 band voice synthesizer, unfortunately i developed it on headphones with a head cold so some consonants are loud. given enough time and INTEREST an app to analyse a voice recording and extract phonemes wouldn't be a major endeavour (look how much work commercial non-audio devs put into speech analysis for business applications, you'll understand) instead, you'll get continually milked for new voices instead of a flexible parametric model (which could be done with source-filter synthesis and/or 'phase vocoder' cepstral resynthesis). you get the developers you pay attention to. all i hear here is mo' breathiness with the same limitations, instead of keyed phoneme switches on a 2nd midi channel which would get you some mileage for dialect, pronounciation.

..eg. if you consider how "advanced" non-music apps are (apple's voice duplicating ware, tech demonstrated by kurzweil in the fing 90s) it is boggling how much mediocrity music industry consumers settle for.

just bought lucy.how do i get her into a track to manipulate the voice(midi or something)it plays along with song but i can't find a way to drop a file or record it into the actual song

You can bounce the output of Emvoice One, just like any other virtual instrument. To do that, you need to create an (empty) midi region on the plugin track in the DAW. So that the DAW "knows" there is something to bounce there. Please send us an email at support if you have any other questions

You can't, this is an old version of Emvoice One. We're going to improve note creation by adding a few features to let you preview and hear the note that you're about to create, though. Thanks!

I installed Emvoice to work with Logic Pro X. When I write notes, they look blurred. I’m trying to contact support but I can’t find it.

The idea is that each note is attached to one syllable: "out there" has two syllables, therefore you need to enter two notes.

@@Emvoice okay i tried the demo it was kinda confusing whit the midi in the daw and the voices where hard to tweak to get the right rhythm but i like the idea of it i really hope it getting alot better in the future cause i really need these vocals do you think it will be possible to do vocals like this song Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike vs Diplo - Hey Baby (feat. Deb's Daughter)

Dosent work with LMMS. it just scrolls forever and no button does anything. Also ignores the midi piano :/

It’s funny, each note is one syllable but I can see her singing many ornamentation notes on a single syllable. Why isn’t the program putting the next syllable into them but is treating them as “bends”? What distinguish bends from normal notes? Drawn with a different tool? PS I would have totally bought this if it were not on a server! 2 or 3Gb program doesn’t need to be dependent on a server to my opinion..

Just wondering, what's the name of that DAW?

emvoice continues to crash in reaper, losing hours of work every time. I have both female voices, paid versions, and have run updates on both my computer and emvoice. When it crashes, it completely CLOSES reaper !!! When I restart, even all the saved parts are gone !

Expensive, no doubt, but factoring the cost of developing this technology along with the relatively small market for such a tool (songwriters testing lyrics?)... it is what it is. I just hope they have a lot more voices coming...
