Look up "under stairs storage" on pinterest. My favourite is the pull out shelving/drawers. Don't just drywall it, use that space for storage. Btw congratulations on finding a house. 👍

nice townhouse tina tomato! lots of light, which is KEY in a townhouse (they can seem dark and gloomy in many cases). i'm gonna guess it was built in 1983?...lol, it has that look. ;) i wouldn't drywall over that space under the entrance stairs, that's very useful space. if you wanted it to be hidden, you could have a custom door covering it. myself, i'd build a little bench in there with shoe storage underneath the bench, and some nice shelving in narrow part. that way there'd be somewhere to sit down to take off/put on shoes that's out of the way. one drawback you'll find about having a house though: you need to buy a bunch of crap to fill it up. :-| peace

Thanks Douglas, it was actually built in 2005 😂it's true though, more spendings coming my way, but hopefully I can stay mindful in the process :)
