Empty Churches? Go TO the world and preach!
This summer, I traveled 18,000 miles to visit every Major League Baseball stadium and evangelize in each. Even if you don't like baseball, I think my experience has something to teach about how we engage with the outside world.

This video is the most beautiful embodiment of the great commissioning: "Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations." Wow, just wow. Thank you, Fr. Casey.

(Yes im copying and pasting) Hey. Do u guy ever think 'what does it mean too ethically convert or preach too others?' How do u ethically convert someone? How do u ethically preach too Christian and non Christian? Most people in your position don't seem to think about these questions or at least all i ever heard were basic answers or non at all
The heart of evangelization is not "accept what I have to give" but "I have something to give!"
Padre, I am so thankful we had the chance to meet in the New Orleans airport that day. Sorry beyond words that your flight to Atlanta was canceled and you had to get on a different one. I wish I could’ve just put you on the bird I was flying and taking you right there but orders are orders… I doubt very much that my airline would’ve understood. I continue to pray for your continued success and remain a very enthusiastic fan of your channel and your work. Fair winds and following seas to you, Father…
Father, I think you have, in this video, delivered one of the best Homilies anyone could hear!

That’s what I have been saying! Let’s go out into and evangelize the world. Millions never enter churches. The church’s mission is saving souls. Let’s find them and approach them.
Jeepers creepers, that gave me goosebumps. I was so blessed to thank you in person at Seattle for all your content and its help in my RCIA class and conversion this year. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do in the future and I'm longing to learn more from you and about our church.

I can remember years ago watching baseball on TV and there were always a couple of nuns ( I am old - so talking about the old habits ) in the seats. It was so nice to see, and for people to see that they were human and loved baseball.
Being traveling evangelists IS the Franciscan vocation! Living the dream guys! Keep going!

I live in northern sweden, a cold place far from american ballparks. Baseboll came into my life a few years back and I love it. Then came god and I love him to! Great video

Wow, this one goes deep. Yes, go out into the world where the people are. For me seeing priests wear cassocks this summer in France (where I was volunteering) made me realise priests have gotten almost invisible because of the 'normal' clothes they wear. But those priests wearing cassocks stood out, and they were conversation starters. I went out into the world and will continue to do so!
I work for the St. Louis Cardinals and was pretty surprised to see you and Father Tito at Busch Stadium. I hope you noticed my Miraculous Medal. I wear it to every game on my name tag. We sometimes celebrate Mass at the stadium. Our President of Baseball Operations and our General Manager are Catholics too. Archbishop Rozanski of the Archdiocese of St. Louis also threw out the first pitch.
I was recently telling my Church group that the church needs to do more secular (meaning this world) advertising. We need to talk about creating a nework of personal relations, better family stability, and group getaways. People need to be told the mortal benefits of being part and adopting our values.

@@tennicksalvarez9079 the truth is you don’t evangelize anyone. All you can do is answer questions they have and ask them questions. Get them to research their own answers by providing a source like a book, article or video they can watch. This is necessary because they often won’t believe what you tell them … especially if they don’t see you as being knowledgeable about the subject or if you really don’t know much. People who are curious are searching for God. And they will seek out knowledge to learn more. So you just help them along by planting a seed (source of knowledge they can go to) … if they are truly open to God they will begin to connect dots towards belief. If they are closed to the idea … then there is nothing you can tell them to convince them. The last thing you can do is pray to God for them that he will light their faith on fire and that they will receive his glory
Was blessed to meet you and Fr. Tito at PNC in Pittsburgh as well as Chase Field in Phoenix. Both times we prayed together and you blessed me to keep my Ovarian cancer in remission. Thank you so much.
I decided to become Catholic on August, and I wish I could have taken this decision before.

Father Casey....This was just wonderful! I loved the Bleacher Brothers tour! What a powerful way to evangelize...as you said...going to the marketplace like St. Francis. I love wondering how St. Francis would have enjoyed our national pastime. I am a fan of your content...here and with Father Pat. I pray that your message continues to bear witness...many blessings to you as the year continues. Thank you.

I can't believe you used ankara Messi clip which gives me goosebumps every time I watch Love from India Fr. Casey
I enjoyed watching every minute of you and Father Tito’s trip. Plus, I’ve had some fun myself learning about the faith. Also I did go to a game, but it was a different one then the one you two went to. It rained a lot. Then the Cardinals lost, but it was fun.
My two favorite things in one video. My grandad and I watched almost every giants game together for 22 years until his death. I really hope he and baseball are are in heaven. Thank you Father Casey you made my prayers a little deeper and more heart felt tonight.
I would have never thought of baseball that way much less connecting it so brilliantly with God and our faith, peace and goodness to you fray!
Truly moving & just what I needed
Thank you Fr.Casey! With Love from NagaLand Kuknalim
I wanted to be at one of your games this summer but sadly I did not make it. Congratulations on a successful tour of evangel-ball Fr. Casey!
Fr Casey you just summarized why I love this game so much. It’s like you reflected everything in the book “And God said Playball!”
I am so glad you and Father Tito did this. I would love to see more priests and nuns out and about and open to conversation. Thank you.
Thank you, Father. I have enjoyed seeing your experience through Instagram. I was able to share your story with non practicing Catholic family. Wonderful! May God continue to bless you🙏
You are the real thing! That’s for sure. God bless you 🙏
I loved following this throughout the summer.
Protestant Christian that resides in the Greater Toronto Ontario Canada Area. I hope that you made it to the Skydome/Rogers Center, the home of of our Toronto Blue Jays. I am thankful for your videos.
Baseball really is a special thing. Thank you so much for going out and doing this.
This is FANTASTIC!!! Thank you!
Awesome!! Francis did what was his to do, you both sure are passionate about what is yours!! Peace and Joy
Amen! Rock on, Fr Casey!
Good on you Father Casey and Tito! The love of Christ is everywhere. Your are an instrument of His peace. Peace and all Good👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼.
This was beautiful & awe-inspiring; I literally got chills multiple times. I reminded me of why I fell in love with America's pastime as a kid, even though I am Canadian and an immigrant. It reminded me why I still have faith, even with all the things happening today. Thank you. One side note, if you end up doing another similar trip in the future, it would be great to have videos like this interspersed throughout your trip, so we get a better picture of why you're out there (and breaks up the monotony of food reviews & stadium ratings!)
Beautiful ! Thank you so much for all you do!
Wow!!! Amazing just Amazing........ Thank you for sharing this message with us!
Father !!!!! You're where the common workers can be found, KZread!!!! Having been to Mass today, Ash Wednesday for the first time in over 30 years. Between you and Father Patrick, I attended Mass, and I have an appointment with the Parish priest in 2 weeks. This will be to fully map my return Home. Lots of works, but this is going to be great!
This is so beautiful and something that i needed to hear. God Bless you for all the work you do.
Bless you and Fr. Tito, Fr. Casey.
Thank you Father Casey! I enjoyed your series & this synopsis of your summer evangelism. Yes, we also need to evangelize.
This is so well done from a film editing standpoint! Which I feel makes or break wether a video is impactful or not. even though I’m not super big into baseball, I still felt really inspired by this video! I’m excited to see what other content you create to help inspire and teach people more about the faith!!
This is such an amazing video! I'm not a baseball fan by any means--I've never even watched a full game!--but I followed all of your and Fr. Tito's baseball videos! I was so fascinated and happy to see this beautiful mission of evangelization you were on. This video so perfectly tied the bow on this series! It's so inspiring and makes evangelization something very concrete and accessible for every Christian to execute with a such a rightly ordered mindset. I know it was a lot for you guys, but I would be so thrilled to see you make this "baseball pilgrimage" every summer! God bless!😊
I looked forward to your baseball videos and commentary all summer Thank you Father Casey and Father Tito? God Bless you for your evangelization tour…all good
Fantastic summing up of your tour of the baseball grounds, brilliant, thank you,
What a great message!
Thanks Fr. Casey. I've enjoyed following y'all's journey this summer. I would love to share this video with a church council meeting. I think it would make a great conversation starter about evangelism.
Watching this video Fr Casey what you have done is wonderful and touching. Going out to where the masses gather and being visible to them will surely remind them of Jesus and the love of he has for all of us. Keep up the great work and may god bless you.
What a journey. I'm sure it made a huge impact not just on you and Fr. Tito, but to every one you encountered.
Father, thank you for this beautiful and inspiring video. I am truly moved by the truths you convey in your work. I too believe in grace and the presence of god in the world. I have no doubt you will heal the hearts of many and inspire others to see the joy and beauty of the divine.
Thanks for reaching out to people. Catholics are getting lost everyday because we neglected this outreach program
Love this message, Father. Sorry to have missed you and Father Tito this summer on your stadium tour. Your interactions with people show that so many are hurting and need God's love in their lives. ♥️
Beautiful homily, Father Casey, as always. So very inspiring!
Thanks Fr. Casey, I needed to hear this message. Instead of loading it over other faiths and denominations, reflect what is good, true and beautiful as an image of God.
This was truly inspiring, and challenging. And yes, I am struggling with envy as I would love to have the experience you described in the video.
Awesome. Excellent channel. God bless Father Casey.
Awesome. I enjoy this kind of video so much more that your analysis/ratings of the stadiums.
Thank you, Father. You have inspired me to think outside of the box and then do something about it. God bless you.
God bless you Fr. Casey!
I loved this so much Father Casey
my favorite baseball field is right here in Houston and that is Minute Maid Park, home of the Astros, when I was younger seeing the Astros get a homerun followed by the train blowing its whistle and bell in celebration to the after game where they let the kids onto the field to run the around and meet the players. after watching this video I can see that not only is it great game but the community it brings is part of Jesus and his love for everyone and to spread peace and love
Excellent! Loved this.
Im definitely sharing this with my monsingor
All I can say is Thank You. That was the greatest homily I've ever heard.

Great video! It always amazes me how many churches there are, even just in America alone (both catholic and protestant) -and many believers for that matter. And yet either solely become enthused in church, yet so silent in the world. Makes me think the evolution of faith has been taken over by the comfort and obsession of the world?
I loved everything about this video.
Please pray for me. I feel called to become a missionary.
Brilliant explanation of how to evangelise. Keep up the good work.
Glad you made it to the slugger museum. Did you make it mount Saint Francis in southern Indiana? Louisville, KY is in my backyard!
Happy family 😇✝️🛐

Speaking of Franciscans, what are your thoughts about the new Padre Pio movie? Also, what did you think of Bishop Barron's interview with Shia Labeouf?
I am impressed

Dang, you’re getting good at this!
Solid. Keep working hard.
Father how did I miss you in Fenway? The greatest stadium of them all? I have followed you for years and I'm just sick to know I missed you in Boston.
I vote for Broadway Brothers! Seriously, if there's anything you both love as much, or close to, as baseball, that should be your next adventure in your evangelical mission. Of course, you could travel to Australia/New Zealand. As you would say, Come and See (mate) ❤
I would have loved to had met you at Petco Park, maybe even brought an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe... I guess I should mention I live in Tijuana MX.
As a non-denominational Pastor of my ministry-church (Yearning For Christ), I do evangelize outside of my "online" ministry-church and I do have a following. I mayn't have any college degree in any Christian course except the Bible alone and confirmation in the Lutheran church I attended.
Can you do a video on the Latin Mass, and why it is still attracting so many people/generating so many vocations today? Also can you do a response to the Mass of the Ages series?
