This cover made me cry. I can imagine him dressed as Marius from the play and singing this song mournfully to himself, sitting in a dark corner table in an abandoned tavern before his cries of anguish and regret drive him screaming to his knees. Your music is so good. Tear-jerking, emotional, and powerful. Wish my voice was that good, but alas.

+BloodWolf752 I believe he stated in a livestream that he's not very good at improvising his singing, in other words, he's not good with live stuff. (Still sounded good to me tbh) but I imagine he's more comfortable with studio recording kind of performances.

There are so many Les Mis covers on KZread that are frankly pedestrian versions by people with far more enthusiasm than talent. The vocals here are simply amazing - I can only imagine what you sound like with a decent orchestra behind you!

I find that many singers can't do both musical and non-musical without one of them sounding like the other, but you are really great at both! (In my opinion, I'm obviously no expert.) I always get goosebumps when I hear you sing.

I clicked on this and I mumbled to myself, "Mr. Hyles, you'd BETTER make me cry with this song." and you did. Wonderful job sir, I got both chills and tears from this cover and that rarely happens. You did an amazing job!

When he broke out in desperation with the line "my friends" my entire body got hit with chills. This song has always made me sad, but haring Caleb sing it, and seeing him gulp down his own tears...God, it actually made me cry

The feeling that you put into this is just incredible.

I love the movie's versions of nearly all the songs, because even the ones that are lacking technical talent are packed with emotion. Yours have both though. I adore your covers so much. I get goosebumps listening to you, and I get tears listening to your Les Mis ones in particular. Your voice is so moving!

Such a naturally superb voice. I am a light tenor and I'm hearing something familiar in your singing that I did until I asked my teacher about it and he helped me with. My lowest note used to be a tenor low D3. I said I wanted to have a G2 for pickup notes. He said stop singing down and soft. Sing forward with more air. It's counterintuitive but I tried it and the deep rumbly notes popped out the next day. Mind you they are ugly at first but it doesn't take long to integrate. It's almost like another short baritone extension register. Sorry to get so technical. You have a great talent.
