For clarification, I mean architectural bones, not literal human bones.

An electric blanket is clutch for the draft situation without being as expensive as running a space heater. Congrats on your move, I know how stressful it can be in LA. Seems like you got a sweet spot. Those neighbors obviously don’t know you have to take care of each other when you live in a hard place to get in and out of in case of emergency!

I watch this video as I sit on my dog’s blanket on the floor, finished with my Indian takeout eaten on paper plates and on my makeshift dining-coffee table, because in just 3 days I will be moving out of the first apartment I’ve ever lived in for more than 7mo (then 1y, then 3y-each milestone bringing me so much joy, coming out to nearly 4 years here) to move in with people I love. And it brings me to tears watching you look forward to and love your new home while also being so thankful of your old one, because it feels just the same. To be here, in my nearly fully packed apartment, reminiscing on the day I toured it and absolutely fell in love. It’s an almost out of body experience watching my old self play out: I can see and hear myself walk in with my mom and dog, masked because COVID was fresh and fierce, and gasp at how perfect it was. This home held me, watched me challenge and be challenged, drug me through the mud, rolled me up, cracked me open and healed me. And I can see that same knowing on your face, the same knowing that you needed it but the journey with this old one is done. I wish you the very best in your new home and cannot fucking wait to watch what you’ll become in it ❤ as always, thank you for letting us into your little life (
