Hey for your info Most Chinese coins were produced with a square hole in the middle. This was used to allow collections of coins to be threaded on a square rod so that the rough edges could be filed smooth, and then threaded on strings for ease of handling.

The thing I remember most about Piggly Wiggly is my grandma taking me there and I discovered people eat things like pig feet, cow tongues and other gross things.

I’m 57 and remember shopping for groceries at piggly wiggly as a kid. I think they were mostly in the south.

I really like this game. It can be tough, but you can get some really good line pays. I always found that when the game is hot, it's hot. That for sure should've been a triple pop! The Dean is still the ball buster in school. Funny story, back in 1992 my current husband’s father was the Dean of our high school. Ancient Chinese coins had square holes that were threaded onto square rods. This would round the edges so the could be threaded onto cord. However many coins on cords determined how many items you could buy.

I remember there was one by house 30 some years ago in northern Wisconsin. Gone now though

"PB&J soggy and warm by lunch time" - loved it when they were like this! Ate so many of those over the years. My mom packed my lunch all through school and I rarely bought school lunch. Back in elementary school I had lunch boxes and she'd put spaghetti os and stuff in my thermos and it would still be warm by lunch.

My uncle owned a Piggly wiggly and then a Safeway. He lives on a ranch now and is retired but still gets around very well. We paint his iron pole fence about once every three years. He hires a few people and I actually spend all my time ripping around the ground on his 4 wheelers. Because nobody beats me😂 weeeeee haaawww LET'S GO!

We had Piggly Wiggly in the San Fernando Valley, California in the 1960s when I was in elementary school. I teamed with my Hollywood grandmother playing Canasta and we always won against her old lady friends.

I was working delivering milk to schools and 1/2 thru my day my nuts hurt and finished the day in pain....went to see doctor afterwards and found out it was testicular cancer....had 1 removed and 8 months of chemo.....not fun for sure
