    Problem here is that the equations are too simple. A lot of problems require rounding up, but did help understand the basics.

    She didn't write those captions. The captions we have on KZread are automatically Google to Text. Google's program analyzes the sound and tries to make captions off of that. So no, it's not her fault.

    I understand methane being CH4. What molecule has a formula C6H24?! Or C18H72? Alkanes are the most saturated hydrocarbons and their formula is CnH2n+2, For C=6, the greatest number of hydrogens a hydrocarbon molecule can contain is 2(6)+2 = 14. This does a nice job of explaining the concept, I just wish you would have used (possible) real compounds to do it.

    I have a question on the third problem wouldn't the mass of H and O be multiplied by 2 since they're diatomic. Like uh, 32 g instead of 16 g for O.

  • @KadishProductions

    @KadishProductions

    10 жыл бұрын

    Oxygen and Hydrogen are only diatomic when they are just H2 or O2, not in compounds such as H2O. So in that compound (H2O), Oxygen's mass is 16g while Hydrogen's mass is 2x1 or 2. Hope this helped! :)
