This is a brilliant reframe. I as the actor want to cry to show off my acting skills 😎 but my character NEVER wants to cry! I actually used your teaching last night in a deathbed scene that really really helped!! Thank you Keira!

This is also applies to writing as most people rarely want to speak or act in a way that will reveal what they feel, but nevertheless ever so often discloses it anyhow. But where was the character from the thumbnail, hm?

Yes great insight with the writing too. The thumbnail was just a picture so not in the video - but I hear what you're saying - noted :)

Great question! Breathing exercises are always a good place to start - not only will these exercises help to support and strengthen your voice but they will also connect you to your emotions. The breath powers the voice, so this then connects to the way in which the words come out. Doing lip trills and playing with range is also extremely helpful. Try saying a line in lots of different ways, using different intonations and you will see how your voice opens up as a powerful tool for expression.

Hey Aref! Thanks for reaching out. I'm afraid I don't know any specifics on scholarships but I think that each acting school will have it's own procedure for this. My advice would be to research some schools you would like to apply to and then contact them about what bursaries and scholarships they provide. Wishing you the best with your acting!
