The Ukrainian people are very dear to me because it was a wonderful Ukrainian family who took me in off the streets many years ago and loved me like I was a member of their family. I admire George and crew for doing this rescue, you guys rock. The Lesenko´s saved my life.

Perhaps the most touching and inspiring George to the Rescue video I have seen yet. We pray for the people of Ukraine often, that this awful war would come to an end. I hope these dear women can be reunited with their husbands soon.

When families go through epic challenges, like some of their members country being at war, and all that entails, we must show them equal amounts of love and support to give them peace of mind and help them to heal. When we can also do this as a community and country it has even greater impact. Kudos to all who gave of themselves to make this a safe haven for these lovely people.

this one hits home for me because I have never even gotten to see my homeland and I feel like I have and that its been ripped away from me! My country is one of the most beautiful, in terms of landscape, and it has been ripped apart by decades of war and explosions. My family is from afghanistan. I pray It will be safe enough for me to visit one day! 😭😭❤❤

More than anything else, it was the meeting.. the absolute, pure and unadulterated joy and love of the families meeting not only made me smile, but, also made me shed a drop or two.. no matter who's right or wrong in a war, it's the innocent public who suffer especially the children.. hope good sense prevails on either sides

Oh my gosh, so emotional to see this! Why was the town in Poland attacked? That's scary. My favorite part is the end, the little girl in her red dress with the ribbons in her hair doing her dance. I hope she keeps on dancing.

Another great episode George. Could have listened to this family for hours. Really enjoyed this episode. I don't understand the Ukrainian language but you really can just see how happy they are to be here, and out of a country in turmoil. I'm sure the move was hard, to uproot a family from all they've known, to move to a foreign country and start over. At least they have family in the US to make that transition a bit less stressful to them. All the little blue and yellow notes from kids was a really cool touch.

There is nothing to remind us Americans of our blessings than travelers of other countries. If you have not seen the guy visiting from Cuba as he goes to a grocery store of Home Depot. With tears in his eyes as he looks at roofing supplies, motors, tools, etc. And says "do you know what I can do with these things?"
