***** burping was normal~ barfed? I guess because you couldn't stand the smell.... durian is way better compared to tempoyak (a dipping/side dish made up of durian)... tempoyak's smell are more intense~

I understand why Americans, the UK's, Europeans, Canadian and etc kinda not to say hate but can't stand ( cant think of any words) the smell of Durians cause Durians tend to have this really strong smell after you open it up. To be honest, even some Malaysians or other Asian countries do not really like Durians including me when I was little, but after giving it a try, I actually liked it although after eating too much of Durian, you feel like you wanna throw up ( Not being harsh here, Im being honest) cause its too rich but after a while, you will get use to the smell and of course the taste of it! And when you burp, you have that Durian smell! Just like how Petai works. Petai is a kind of bean I guess, it's a smelly bean just because when you eat it, your breath will be smelly and kinda everything will be smelly after eating it. Glad that you enjoy our foods! I would love to try USA's food, but my choice is kinda limited cause Im a Malay Muslim and we only eat Halal food and as far as I know, even the American gummy bears or any other sweats and treats contain either alcohol or gelatine that are made of animals. It's pretty sad that I cant try it but I think they do have the ones that we can actually eat :)

Hey,EMMY I'm from Malaysia,I'm proud to watch these about my childhood days what are used to be happening,what I ate before,its like a memories bout these,I'm speechless,they're the best food,ever!AND,Emmy I would like to send you something bout food reviews too,if I could do it next time!

I like sweet in my savory. When I make macaroni and cheese which I'm eating right now as I'm watching your video, before I add the cheese into the macaroni I add in margarine and then I add in two tablespoons full of duck sauce. And then I add in the cheese so by the time I eat it it tastes fruity and my duck sauce has little chunks of fruit in it so the macaroni and cheese has chunks of fruit and it's really good.

even though I'm Malaysian..i admit that ihate durian but durian candies is one of my fav :D

I'm Malaysian but I can't stand durian lol. My friends & family make fun of me and always jokingly say I'm not a true Malaysian bc I hate durian. The only durian flavored "food" I can take is durian ice-cream. I actually recommend it. Coming from a durian hater, u have to be thinking the ice-cream it's delicous since I recommend it right? Well it is. Other than that, everything else sucks for me :)

Many people hate durians. But Singaporeans and Malaysians LOVE them. Some of us even love their smell. On most occasions when durians are in harvest, relatives gather together to eat them. Durians are great for family bonding in Singapore :)

My parents are from Malaysia. I was born in New York but have been influenced by my parents since I was born to eat Malaysian foods. Where I live there is a supermarket specializing in South Asian foods so I get all my Malaysian foods there.

Durian Burn - You need to drink cooling water like 'Cool Rhino' or if in Malaysia we just buy There Legs Cooling Water and we called Air Cap Badak because the brand picture is rhino. Rhino in malay language is Badak.

When I lived in China I wanted to try durian fruit but I was too scared to take one back to my apartment because of the smell. I like the way you approach the taste tests.

Choki-choki is very famous Indonesian chocolate, it is produced by Indonesian Company (Mayora Group). I think both Indonesia and Malaysia have similar snacks and sweet.
