The Lebkuchen cookie probably also has a piece of Oblatten at its base. Lebkuchen is also usually a bit fluffier/cakier than American gingerbread. A bit less intense in flavor, usually. And you'll see it in cake form, too, usually cut into little squares like a brownie.

I think the Cocasella have a thin unflavored layer of "edible paper" wafer, coated with chocolate, on the bottom - the unflavored version of the apple-flavored edible paper (Oblatten) you sampled in your video of snacks sent to you from Christian in Germany. There are numerous German cookies that have Oblatten paper as their base/bottom.

I really adore your vocabulary. I learn new words, while watching amazing candy reviews! To all the people who say you talk too much, must have never seen a review-type video. I think i speak for all the Emmy lovers when i say, keep doing what you're doing. You're an amazing person! Thank you for your videos!
Yeah sie liebt uns deutschen xD

the original happy hippo are better than the second one like in the video. there is chocolade sll around the hippo and the cream inside. the taste is difficult to this one
thank you. I love the way you do this. I'm doing something simular but not nearly as good as you. You enjoy it so much it makes me smile and it's inspiring :)
Since I am from Germany, I know all that candy very well and it's just too cute to see how happy and excited you are about testing all that sweets C: and escpecially how you pronoune some of that candy, sounds very cute :'D
Ok, I have to stop watching you , every time you eat something crisp I need to get up and get some crisps. Every time you eat chocolate or caramel I have to eat something yummy lol it's great to watch but not good for the waist line lol

Sara Saydawi you obviously lost the humor in her comment. Clearly, English is not your first language. Make sure you understand before you attack next time.
So cute.
i love it when she gets excited.
The moment you said you'd never eaten marzipan before, I knew you'd just love it :)

Who?😂😂😂😂
The Lebkuchen cookie probably also has a piece of Oblatten at its base. Lebkuchen is also usually a bit fluffier/cakier than American gingerbread. A bit less intense in flavor, usually. And you'll see it in cake form, too, usually cut into little squares like a brownie.
Hi Emmy I am overwhelmed by your cute personality and your natural charisma. It's very interesting to get a Feedback about our german food from people with differing food preferences and experiences from other hemispheres Please continue. Best regards
I'm a German and I don't like "Stollen". :-)

You have to try Rumkugeln. :D Oh I love them so much :o~~

My mother and I watched this together (her father was from Germany) and it was so worth the wait. Great video!!
Stollen und kaffee on Sunday after lunch. We have our main meal at lunch an sandwiches at supper
It's really awesome to see you try all the stuff I'm always surrounded by. Living in Germany you kinda take it all for granted, this has been a very cool perspective for me.
We have tons of those Fererro chocolates in the States. Dark, Milk, and White (with coconut coating). White is usually found during the holidays. Not the cheapest, but who said the tastiest chocolates are the cheapest.
The fruits in the Stollen are dried grapes 🍇 I'm from Germany and I love your Eat Germany videos!!
Your videos are really a joy to watch. Love your enthusiasm! Keep up the good work :-)
Emmy, you are sooo cool! ... thank you very much, for your report on our German sweets and Christmas Cookies... It is always good to see you! And as a German guy, .. I loved this one especially ... a lot !!! ♥♥♥
i love her!!! i can watch her eat all day!!! so cute!
I really enjoyed your videos about german sweets! I always love things like this because I find it really interesting what people from other countries think about german food :D
ALDI is a German based grocery store her in Dallas Tx USA. 🇺🇸 Every Christmas this store sells these cookies. Every Christmas I buy these cookies. 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
I come from Europe and have tried most of what was on this video, and it was really interesting hearing how you described each one, I never thought of analysing the flavours and ingredients like that before
I laughed so hard when you said "Let's just bite santy's head off" *bite* OMG DID YOU HEAR THAT, THAT WAS AWESOME.
I love the Kinder Happy Hippos. And the white cream is supposed to be milk so it's like milk and cookies. The cookie is the chocolate and the outside.
You are incredibly cute! Your reactions are always so energetic and genuine. You have a lot of personality. I love watching your videos.
The ferrero rond noir candy is made in the U.S. too. The other kind they make is milk chocolate and has crushed peanuts on the outside, everything else is the same. There is apparently another kind with coconut. I love these!
Watching this after many years just for the sound that chocolate Santa makes.
Stollen is a type of fruit bread. I think we tried to make it in our Community Kitchens Cooking group once before.
i allways eat Stollen with Almonds and Chocolate inside, its so good and my grandma sents me the Stollen every year. Highlight in Christmastime, i looove it

Yeah its my favorite ! Because i dont like the traditional one :c
Watch this episode over and over. Love this episode~~ XD
The noise, when you bite into an chocolate santa clause is the best. its better than eating the santa clause. I eat them just at christmas day. :)
Happy Hippo und die Koala Bären sind die allerbesten *-*
I have a picture on my inner eye... dozens of sweet-tourist raid our supermarkets and invade our candyshops on funfairs ^^ Go Germany! Victory our sweets xD *smile*
Rond Noir are AWESOME...one of my favorite candies ever
After seeing the video I repeat: Marry me Emmy !!!! I'm a latino born and grown up in Germany and you are so sweet and funny!!! Marry me Emmy!!!
when you took the package of the Mozart-candies i knew you must love them because its one of the best candies on this planet!
I ate thoses koalas when I was younger.. my mom bought them for me everytime we go to the store I love them so much taste great and I lived in Miami FL.
I love how you describe food, you make it all sound so appealing!
That wsa so funny when she said "balls" and she made a funny face hahahahahah lol
The coconut biscuit with the chocolate back is what we in NZ would call a macaroon. Not to be confused with a macaron
The Mozart candies are amazing, too!
Thank you! :)
You havent got Baumkuchen (woodcake?) which is almost a sacrileg. Its a soft biscuit and one of the best treats on christmas
"the young mozart" part makes me laugh everytime . The way she tries to sound super proper XD
It's so sweet the way she uses her nails to carefully remove the wrapper on those eggs. Most westerners just squeeze the wrapper off whilst catapulting the chocolate inards into their pie hole. Or maybe it's just me :(
Hehe I giggled at the Mozart balls at the same time you did in the video. Hehe
i´ll remember the kinder hippo from my childhood, it was the best thing ever!
Stollen (imported from Germany) is easy to find in the US at Christmas. I buy the butter almond version, my favorite.
Ich schau mir das im August an und hab auf einmal total lust auf Weihnachten :)
Whole day watching Emmy made in Japan......i mean EVERY SINGLE VIDEO..
You have the *best* reactions to things!
ooouhhhh... it's soooo lovely to see how much fun you're havin eating those, to me just normal things :D
Happy hippo is one of the German sweets worth dying for!
haha, i laughed so hard at 'mozart balls'. i'm from germany and studied translation and this was one of my professors' favourite translation mishaps. 'now who would want to eat that?' :D
Just found your channel, You're amazing! :)
The hippo reminds me of the song. "I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas". Maybe that's what it's signifying!
I have some of those Mozart candies! My box is in the shape of a violin and I love it so much. The candy isn't really my taste, but it's the cutest thing.
Omg the santa hollow is Awesome the sound
Santie's Head Popped off when she bit into it! :-D
its sooo cute when she sais "kartoffeln" XD but really nice videos : D greetings from berlin^^
THIS VIDEO WAS UPLOADED ON MY BIRTHDAY OH HOW COOL!!
