@@drakedaniels7880 Barry was the best runner but Emmitt by far a better rb. Barry couldn't block like E, couldn't run through tackles like E and unfortunately Barry didn't show up in his playoff opportunities like E did. Keep them highlight reel runs, I'll take the guy that puts the ball in the endzone and helps the team win titles

Fun fact: look up Emmitt’s stats in his first season he got 937 yds. In his last season? 937 yds. Sanders, Payton and Brown may have been faster perhaps better than Smith but the NFL stat says that the RB with the most yards with 18,355 yds is Emmitt. Btw…I don’t want hear about the OLINE, the RB needs to have vision to hit the hole. With no vision it doesn’t matter how good the OLINE is.

That’s actually a pretty accurate description of the 2002 Dallas Cowboys. If not for Jerry Jones STUPIDITY Emmitt finishes with over 20,000 yards. He NEVER should have left Dallas. I followed Emmitt pretty closely his last two years. Under Parcells he would have had a renaissance just like OJ Andersen did. That was the first thought that came to my mind when Parcells was hired. They never even met. Jerry cut him. Emmitt even said he would have restructured his contract. The best part of that 2004 season was seeing that mouth running PUNK Troy Hambrick as EMMITTs back up again in Arizona…LOL.

It wasn’t a bad pick though. There team was really really good that year, not as good as 1996, but they we’re getting close to being the best team in the NFL. But they sucked in astroturf in the 90s, absolutely struggled in Dallas (0-9 with Favre as a starter), Minnesota, and Detroit. The 95 NFC Championship Game was their best chance to beat Dallas in Dallas.

Well it’s not career highlights, this is from the 95 season. Which was his best season statistically. He broke the rushing record in 2002 👍.
