I purchased an Emma Ottoman bed in the sales (the one that lifts up the mattress to reveal storage underneath).
The instructions came via a rubbish QR code on the boxes and are adequate to get the job done but I would suggest three people to fix the hinges in place. The hinges are supplied in the 'up' position and the instructions don't tell you how to get the bed flat for the first time.
Some internet searches suggested putting the mattress in place would do it-it didn't and my eldest son found a piece on the internet that suggested pushing down over each hinge simultaneously for the first time to get it to play ball-it did.
The bed thereafter works smoothly by pulling on the handle at the end of the bed but Emma should make this initial stiffness fix a bit more obvious. This is why I've decided to chuck this on my channel "In case it helps just one person". #emmatroubleshooting #emmabed #emmaottoman
