Excellent strategy against Coco and she executed it to the letter. Kudos to her. Coco didn't play bad, Emma just played great. Next time Coco will be more prepared. Coco was probably already dreaming of lifting the trophy and that mistake cost her in this match. Coco was stunned by how aggressive Emma was playing and by the time she clued it on what Emma was doing the first set was over. Coco made too many unforced errors reacting to Emma's aggressive play. Emma was calm and kept striking with ferocity attacking Coco's first and second serves as well as her forehand even when she was missing earlier. She kept at it. This girl will be a top five player if she keeps playing this way.

What do you think Coco has to do besides fixing her forehand? I get they they are trying to get her to be more aggressive but I mean she won the US Open without much much aggression.. I get being passive and having to force your opponent to hit winners and hopefully miss and it not being sustainable in the long run but perhaps she can cross that bridge when she gets there but for now, why fix something that has been “working”?

Gotta love her overall appearance. Very quiet, humble, polite and by the way she's playing quite a decent tournament. After beating Naomi and Coco the bar can't be high enough. Just take one match at a time, but she could get even a lot further at this year's SW 19 tournament. I hope she stays healthy and manages her energy properly, but I'd love to see her play the US Open as one of the tournament's favourites. Good luck, Emma!

This half of the draw is SO open to the final. The other draw is tough for everyone left. As for Coco's forehand (sorry, this was the edit), it appears most have jumped on the bandwagon that she has a poor forehand. Emma is like Buddha himself..Always zen..Even after beating Coco..just one small arm raised. I mean I get it. Her father is a billionnaire so she has no money issues not now and not in the future. So for Emma it is just a nice hobby to become pro in WTA😂. I get her..Good luck and may she collect more trophees in the future..😂..The way she plays and moves around, reminds me of a classic player. If you look at Christ Evert's matches in the past, she has similar movements and tactical execution.Love the classic way of playing..Check mate!

Unable to view so unsure if Coco is Morloc definitely more dreadlocks... Which likely weighs her down. Better press reporters needed. Merely having to hear this retarded questions post match during tournament is a burden. give greater respect for all players. If not for them all others have no income for ego rants. There should be a tournament where all original official racquet s outfits be used to see how well each are. Merely having eye in sky precise record of shots instead of incompetent or biased umpires is a relief to players who know in vs out...

Yes. Money can't buy a Wimbledon title. But fortunately for her, she is also a talented tennis player. She is not the 17th ranked player in the world for nothing. She came this far in Wimbledon and she is the second favorite to win the title next to Elena now that her draw has been wide open.
