Anyone who closes the windows on take-off and indeed for the entire flight is dead inside. I've flown for almost half a century and this NEVER ceases to amaze me. That we humans are able to do this from the rocks and minerals we were given on this planet. Incredible. You only live once. Drink in moments like this. Beautiful.

I remember my first flight on one.. as a really frequent flier I have to say it was crazy weird how quiet things were. That being said, it’s reasonably quiet from the outside too. A-350 and Dreamliner are also super quiet inside. But I flew 380 first so wasn’t used to it. Also was a bit weird with how slow it was on approach as well.

Every time i See an a380 Video, im impressed how quiet that plane is.

Probably because this A380 in the video has GP7200s and not the noisy Trent 900

Just proves there's always a nice sunny day above the clouds

I'm a big Boeing fan, but the quietness and the size of the A380 still gives me chills.

The A380 forever Fan.

We flew to Australia and back in an A380 with Singapore Airlines not long after they came into service, it was a brilliant experience, we sat on the upper deck which was even better as always travelling by Singapore Airlines was a wonderful experience, we hope to do it again soon

Beautiful. This brings back all that I love about flying 😍 and have missed since the pandemic. We flew back from Singapore on a 380 just before Covid hit and haven't been able to get up there since. Your video captures the excitement and wonder of lift off, as well as the exhilaration of climbing up through the clouds to that magical break through into clear skies and that special light. So smooth and quiet! I wish all flights were like that.

Thank you for sharing. I love the visualization of the vortices off the engine strakes at high angles of attack. Also epic watching the wing bend upward: You can se the Emirates logo appear on the outboard engine as speed builds from walking speed to take off. And the rapid clouds forming off the top surfaces of the wing at cloud base. You can see why meteorologists call it the condensation layer. Meanwhile, the chap in seat 39A is reading a book 🤣

Without a doubt the Emirates A380 is the best ever aircraft for passenger comfort. Pray that the new Rolls Royce engine in development, will enable a cost effective Twin Engine A380 to fly in the future.

Oh wow!! I really wish this plane could fly me to every destination I want to fly to.

Fantastic. I’ve flown LGW to PER via DBX a couple of times, most legs on an a380, and they are very comfortable. Just booked another round trip later this year so am now binge-watching a380 videos. Great that you caught the sound of the flaps retracting - I’d forgotten that!

For some reason the motors running the flaps and droops on the A380 make a sound unlike other aircraft, especially that drop in pitch as they end the process (5:14). Anybody know why?

I've only flown once on an A380 and it is amazing how quiet the engineers have made this inside for the passengers.

A380 are a fabulous aircraft, I travelled on Emirates A380 to Sydney from London. And quanta’s A380 another time to Sydney both where fantastic experience’s . Such a shame they finished producing them.

Beautiful! Enjoy 4 engines while we still have them.

You barely hear the engines when you're taking off. They really are so quiet

@@soilentgreen7 sir production has already been stopped completely and in coming decades they will retire it fully . By almost 20-30 years they will retire it fully . No idea why ? but this will be biggest mistake in the history of aviation.

The engines seem quiet compared to other large planes. Either that or the sound is well insulated.

I thought the plane was taxiing to the other end of the runway but then I started to think it looks a little to fast for taxiing. Where was the big urge of power from the engines 🤣 was very smooth.

I've flown in and out of Heathrow on the A-380 four times. It is like sitting in your living room and your living room takes off and you look out the window and you are above the clouds. How did my living room get up here?
