    @@menace2society00 Still counts within the metrics of rap battles. Family Matters got more punchlines and direct lines, got more bars. Drake wins the rap battle. Compared to Kendrick's 4 other disses that are mostly indirect, not enough punchlines and bars. Literally Euphoria, 6:16, Meet The Grahams, Not Like Us, isn't directly addressing Drake at all and could be any other rapper. In a classic rap battle Kendrick is losing, you are there tk diss the rapper in front of you, not diss other rappers or audiences kr anything else!

    @@danielnelson3136 bro what 🤣 all the best lines on family matters were at asap rocky and rick ross. Are you slow? How can someone be lyrically better when they didn,'t write the lyrics? He is a performer, and kendrick beat his ghost writers. ALL of Kendricks lines in Meet the Grahams were toward drake and his whole family its literally a letter where as Drake randomly mentions going to delilah to buy all of his ice and damn near every other rapper. Drake literally just calls kendrick short and beats on his wife and tries to shit on him for mqking conscious music lol. Kendrick ripped into drake about all his past lies in the industry, minor allegations, deadbeat dad, no morals, gambling, escort issues, and how he has 9 registered sex offenders living with him. I honestly think this is where Eminem influenced Kendrick the most, the ability to change between flows and voices from song to song, or even inside one song. While other rappers had better lyrics, better beats or even a better flow, no one had the versatility of Eminem, and that gave him an edge, because he could easily switch his styles to suit his lyrics or play with the audenice. Kendrick learned from him, which is why he puts him in his top 5.

    versatility doesn’t exactly describe why Eminem was great, he talked about stuff that no other rappers did. Pushed past the boundaries of what hip hop was and became bigger than the genre. I wouldn’t call it versatility, it’s more like a willingness to talk about subjects others are too rigid or scared to.

  • @nicolaemadalinboboc6704

    @nicolaemadalinboboc6704

    17 күн бұрын

    @@mattu21 I wasnt talking about lyrics, but his flows. Most rappers once they find their style, they dont risk to deviate from it, and just use it on song after song with only the lyrics changed. Eminem could change his style easily from song to song or inside a song without loosing what made him unique, and Kendrick is similar too. By comparison Nas is a great lyricist and had a better flow than either on them on his debut, but his style was very much the same all through that album.

    r we ea AE Eate (Verse 1) Yo, Marshall, face the mirror, time to get bolder, World's getting colder, shoulder to shoulder. Cleanin' out your closet, confessin' your sins, But what about the healing, when's that begin? (Hook) Ain't about the mockingbird, ain't about the past, What about the man you are, how long you gonna last? Lose yourself in the music, in the moment, But don't lose sight of you, don't just own it. (Verse 2) You spit about your life, about your strife, But what about the change, the chance for a new life? You're an icon, a voice for the voiceless, But Marshall, it's time for change, time to address this. (Hook) Ain't about the mockingbird, ain't about the fame, It's about the man you've become, life ain't a game. Lose yourself in the rhythm, in the rhyme, But don't lose you, Marshall, there's still time. (Bridge) Here's the mic, Marshall, what you gonna say? Talk about the past or make a better today? Stage is yours, crowd is silent, Marshall, it's your move, it's your moment. (Verse 3) Time betrayed the both of us, it was never on our side[^1^][1], We never had enough, fate came in to twist the knife[^1^][1]. Got a second chance, only to lose you twice[^1^][1], Some days so mad, can't think straight, life ain't nice[^1^][1]. (Hook) Ain't about the mockingbird, ain't about the hurt, It's about the man you could be, feet in the dirt. Lose yourself in the beat, in the flow, But find you, Marshall, let the change show. (Outro) Clean out your closet, let go of the fear, Marshall, it's your time, future is here. Remember how you treated me, like a sacred oath[^1^][1], You were bound to keep, now it's time for growth[^1^][1]. #temptingfate

    Kendrick Lamar is good, but there's another person who's silently emerging very soon. The one who was blessed by Em and Dre not so long ago, his name is Ez Mil. Mark my words, that boy is more savage, and he can do anything. He produces, directs, and he's a lyricist. Try to search for him. He's the one who was recently signed by Dr. Dre and Eminem, with three labels, namely Interscope, Shady Records, and Aftermath.

    Reality sets in when you can look at the whole picture. Drake has shown us he can NOT be toppled.. whatsoever! Kenny has solidified his place as a pinnacle pen pusher, true. This battle is when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object in my eyes. It's creating great content for us to consume but people seem to truly believe Drake is going to be stopped 🤦🏾‍♂️ Listen, the only creature that can stop Drake is Em and Em is indebted to Drake for a favor regarding his DAUGHTER!! (another aspect of Drake's genius at play🏆) Vote who you want to vote for. Drake will remain on his respective throne until he decides to step down. Is what it is, folks 🤷🏾
