There’s a little thing Knox missed here. When Em says the “123, 123, 123” thing, he acually says it on 1:23 in the song. He’s a maniac😂🔥🔥🔥

At 1:23 of the song he says the 123 line. Genius
10:11 probably one of the dopest facts about this song is that not only he does the 666 with the 123, 123, 123, but also he says it at the minute 1:23 of the song *bruh* I love this song, probably my favorite of relapse with Stay Wide Awake, I love the whole concept of Eminem Vs. The Devil (the devil being his drug addiction) narrative.

I love how with each verse eminem voice and the demon voice start to merge, by far one of my favorite songs of eminems. The creativity and the story telling is amazing. And the rhyme scheme . Is just simply amazing. He's just the G.O.A.T
Amazing analysis. Made me notice the chainsaw timing and the coming together of the voices (symbiote) Another song recommendation : Careful what you wish for - em
First time I heard this my first thought was his addiction. The voice is most definitely addiction talking to him. Shady gives into his addiction which is why his addiction wants Shady back. Every time I hear this masterpiece it gives me chills. No one could describe the control addiction has over your life better than Em has done. The end where Em and his addiction are rapping at the same time perfectly shows how we are responsible for our own negative thoughts and actions.

References to selling his soul, having a contentious conversation with an entity outside of himself that identifies itself as a spirit, subtle references to 666, regret about the cost of achieving his dream of fame and fortune. It's not about addiction. Although I do appreciate the indication that Dre was inline with the spirit.
@annother3350

Dont be so foolish. He keeps remimdomg us how he's sold his sould and that he can't kill a spirit. It's demonic - - satanic. The whole flipping industry is built upon satanism ffs!!
The way he brakes down songs is second to none AND he does sick music
"Dad time comes first." 100%, Knox. Good man. Love your vids. Keep it up.
Yo Knox your songs keep getting better the one in the intro is crazy as shit that flow was ridiculous, keep it up man you’re an MC!!
Can we please see more Relapse??? It's probably my favourote album of Em's and there are so many good songs that are overlooked
I’m glad you liked the song! It’s always been one of my favorite underrated Eminem songs. I always interpreted the demonic voice as drugs itself (or Eminem on drugs) encouraging him to go back on the pills. There’s lines like “isn’t that us on that poster?” where the album cover is Eminem with drugs and the overall message. He’s calling to Shady, because the argument is that drugs fuel Shady

Knox, it's always great to support a hip-hop head like you that is both a good rapper and someone that really understands all the nuances of a rap. 👍💪🔥
My son got me into this song when he was 11 years old. He was so proud of himself for being able to rap it word for word. I decided to listen to it and it's been easily one of my favorites ever since. That was over 10 year's ago. Em, is an untouchable lyricist, the way he can switch flows, twists and bends word's with ease just blows my mind. So glad you broke down this song!

Relapse so underrated but i still have the album and still pumps it today. and it g-g-goes 123 123 123 Em is a evil genius
Dunno if you will read this, but the "devil" represents the drug addiction. This line "Isn't that us on that poster" explains that, since it's on Relapse and the album poster had Eminem's face drawn out of pills.
This is one of Em's most amazing song, absolutely love your break down on this one. I gotta also add that seeing you having "Dad time" with one of your girls was the best part of the video for me because that was how I always wished my own dad acted, but instead I got an asshole of a father instead of a dad. In my eyes you are the BEST DAD in the world! Thanks for not cutting that out
FINALLY, AFTER SO MANY YEARS SOMEONE APPRECIATE THIS SONG. 🤷🏻♀️ *I love, how he reference FIGHT CLUB* in this song. 💖💖💖
You always ask us to let you know if we think you're onto something or reaching. With the 123 123 123 line I think you're reaching. Love the reactions/channel. Been around for a long time.
This track man. Goosebumps every time! Such a dope song
When he says cause i poses your soul heart mind and your body, rolls soo nicely
I looove this track! One of my favorites! I always took the demonic voice as being fame or the rap game in general, because he didn't sell his soul to Shady, he "sold his soul" to the game. Haven't finished the video yet so I'm eager to see what you make of it:)

You're incredible at telling about Em, so it's not us Stans who understand him but also everyone else who understands where he's coming from GOAT
You're still undefeated with your breakdowns!
2nd best thing to Knox releasing his own tunes on Saturdays is a deep dive breakdown! Can’t wait to watch this one later!
He said: “so at night before i sleep, i look in the mirror, the mirror grows lips and it whispers “come here”” Underrated lines as it sounds like its an actual horror movie script. Its the precision in the story telling.
A top 5 Eminem song, the beat is so raw and dark I love it. Wish he did more songs like this.
The most accurate descriptions about his rhyming
This flow pattern from the intro, maaan, you are leveling up for sure
You need to do Evil Twin. A great take on the split personality
I feel like every album he put out minus a few songs that definitely didn't fit professional are masterpieces. Relapse has such an interesting horrorcore play to his album. My Darling feels like slim is coddling Em and knows he will fail if he touched any drugs and alcohol again. Slim being one of the way he was able to break out as a star. Em took back over and had to redo how he raps and resist the old ways. His demons on his back trying to convince him that without the drugs, he will never be great enough. It is an interesting play on his characters. Slim is technically a serial killer of the rap game if you want to give it a different spin on the song. So slim fits in this album with the theme
Such an amazing song, one of his best for sure. Love your reactions especially the Em ones, you are the BEST Eminem reactor out there, you break his songs down so well, respect 🙏

Yo that song might just be my new favorite of yours it has so much. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Knox, you are Necessary. This track was a lot of fun, but now it feels much deeper.
One of my favorite aspects of this track is that it goes all the way back to the The Slim Shady EP with references. The demonic voice in this one is similar to the one used to represent Shady in the EP Intro. The EP Intro also has him shattering a mirror while talking to a demonic voice through it. In this one the demonic voice begins by saying "Shady" while in the EP Intro the demonic voice begins by saying "Eminem." Hell, the underlying concept between this song and the EP Intro is very similar overall.
