You're commenting on why his name is in the title since he's not rapping anywhere here. He is of course included in the title because the entire instrumental (and not just "a beat" ) is his song. As I am a domestic violence survivor. This song and video gave me the chills ..even though Eminem didn't sing the video is with Eminem and Rihanna I love the way u lie song.... Anyone in a domestic relations get out while u can. Promise you it will get worse... Prayers to ppl in a domestic relations..and that includes all types of abuse

Had such a hard time holding back tears, I had the original Sound of Silence from Disturbed played at my older sisters funeral, although I wasn't there I was promised that it would play, and now I found a version to play at my mothers funeral (She has Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer, and has lived surprisingly longer than what the doctors told her. Im still betting she'd go a good decade and beyond. Thanks!!!

So glad I heard this version of one of my all-time fav songs! Haunting, spot-on cover that takes you to an entirely different place than the original. Disturbed is now one of my favorite bands because of this cover. Have to admit I heard it on Blacklist....but I am blown away and grateful! The scene in which the song was played was powerful and most appropriate!

Shannon Poling I do like the original. But every cover and adaptation and remix is another piece in itself. Different sounds, different stories. They each have meaning and are beautiful in their own ways. Including this one.

I first heard Disturbed's Simon And Garfunkel's cover of The Sound Of Silence when they performed on Conan's show. My Dad found it online, I got him into Disturbed and he loves them now. But this mash-up, damn this just stepped this up. Eminem is my favorite rapper and Disturbed one of my favorite rock groups so this was a mash-up of perfection. Could only be better if Eminem and Disturbed actually performed this song together. 😮😊
