I first heard Eminem when I was 10. The first song I ever heard was Without Me. It blew my 10 year old brain and I instantly fell in love and had to hear more. Just like that he became my favourite artist and while I went through other phases throughout the years, he’s always had a special place in my heart as my idol. I even enjoyed his so called “shitty albums” and never lost any love for him or quit believing in him. I did not care what anyone thought when I was working at a fancy university and was asked who my idol was. I proudly said that Eminem always has been and always will be. 💗

the most sadest thing about this song is that the original singer died before she could do a duet with bad wolves for her song about the irish civil war that was going on where a ton of innocent people were being murdered and arrested by their own government. The song was about fighting oppression which hit a lot of irish people around the world and hits the hearts of all those oppressed around the world as well. best way to put it the song is a fight against terrorism.
