We are the core audience. They are essentially high end listeners. So we grade music probably on a 50-100% where anything under 50% is garbage. They rate things 85-100%. So that’s why the scaling feels off. While we can enjoy a 70% quality song and feel like it’s one of his best they listen and are disappointed. And it’s like everything about a song needs to be in that range for them.

@@nusretabi7222 it's not a bad song, it's just nowhere near his best. It's worse than literally every song on his first three albums imo, still doesn't mean it's bad, those songs are just so good. And then the concept is sweet but the chorus makes it corny. He's done the same concept far better and far less cliche in songs like hailies song and castle/arose. Also the whole song for me is shrouded by the rest of the unbearable songs on the same album. Plus tiktok has ruined it and now it lives in this wierd little world where everyone loves it and considers it amazing even though the verses are not his best performance and its praise only comes from the catchiness of the chorus, which is only so catchy because it (lazily) relies on a nursery rhyme melody most people are already familiar with. Without the psychological trick of using a widely spread melody to convey comfort and a listenable chorus, it wouldn't Recieve anywhere near the praise it does atm

Eminem & 50 have a number of collaborations - 'warrior part 2', 'we all die one day', 'encore', 'never enough', 'spend some time', 'don't push me', 'patiently waiting', 'psycho', 'you don't know', 'jimmy crack corn', 'the re-up', 'hail mary', 'bump heads' and 'love me' are all better collaborations than 'crack a bottle'.

My personal favorite Eminem song is bump heads, just love the disses and overall energy the song brings

The whole concept about Relapse and Recovery was him falling back into addiction and then recovering, but MMLP2? And dying his hair blonde again? It really didn't sound anything like the original MMLP, so why even call it like that? I think at that moment, for the 1st time in his career, he just didn't know the concept, idea and backstory to his own album, he just didn't know which pattern to go through. Even if there are some great tracks on it of course

Houdini was straight cheeks bro. The hook was awful, the production was weird and unoriginal, the bars were corny af and not clever at all. It has absolutely 0 replay value. And the entire point of the song was to just be nostalgia bait.
