That’s because Em isn’t the goat. It’s widely accepted and he says it himself. Is he top 10? Arguably, yes. Too many names to shove into a top 10. But he’s not on the mountain top and I’ll explain why. Nas has five classic albums (Illmatic, It Was Written, Stillmatic, God’s Son and Lost Tapes) with a couple from this decade including KD2 likely to add to that list in the future. Em has just two. MMLP and The Eminem Show. You judge an artist by his body of work as a whole. Classic albums need to stand the test of time. How many people do you hear bumping Recovery or Relapse to this day? Zero. I don’t disrespect you’re opinion but it can be factually backed up that he isn’t the GOAT. He just has a LOT of fans that scream he’s the goat that haven’t listened to nearly enough rap/hip hop to make that claim.

This song, imo, is an example of the most elite level of spitting. It’s like a circus act for rappers. Wild.

Most just don't like paying attention to lyrical detail which is why braindead music is popular now. 50 cent had something to say.
