That’s kind of the point. Episode 9 was the end of Emisue - hopeful for the future. Episode 10 was about Emily’s discovery and legacy. If the show ended with Emily’s death (like what a lot of people thought would happen) then Emily Dickinson - herself - legacy would end; die. The mermaids represented her future poems and life - with Sue and her family. But I agree with how you are feeling, I cannot believe it over! But eventually, all things have to end, no matter how bitter or sweet - this brought to life what Emily was actually like through a modern lense, I believe she would appreciate; and hopefully her legacy shall keep living with the show and with us! (If you couldn’t tell Emily was one of my favourite poet since childhood and I have a deep love for this show and her life!)

The way this is perfection! YOU PARALLELED EVERYTHING! ITS MINDBLOWING!

I prefer the cover done by Liz Gillies and Max Schneider. I'd say it's stronger and more heartfelt than the OG. I recommend listening to it while thinking of something/someone special.

And I'm really sad that its ended, like it actuslly hurts. This story gave me a sense of inspiration, peace and love. Everything felt so real, and you captured that feeling so perfectly in this video. Bravo. Here's to Dickinson! And the cast and whole crew that made it possible for us to witness such a story. I'll forever love this show

I'm still processing it's over for real and I'll probably stay denial for more time to come, one thing that will never go away is all the good things that this show left to all of us and most important all the amazing people like you that I virtually discovered thanks to Dickinson.
