Beautiful Philippine, she’s one example of aging with beauty and grace. I love to see these mature women in important roles, to me is a message that it’s ok to allow yourself to age and not obsess with looking younger forever. Your enchant and allure it’s in your personality. Great interview 👏🏻

I never think of Sylvie as a villain, I think of her as a role model for Emily to learn from. Sylvie is handling her business and looking fab while doing it.

I never understood why people think that Sylwie is a bad character. Actually to me she is the most real of them all and if a person like Emily walked into my office I would behave the same. This is part of the mistake that creators made: they thought that everyone should be delighted by Emily’s presence, but man….. she should be generały hated

But it's actually a bit upsetting that she, in this video, describes Sylvie as a villain, nasty, and having a dark side. I didn't perceive that in the character at all. Why would she label her as such?

Sylvie is a fabulous antagonist- one that makes Emily’s character grow. Definitely not a villain in my opinion- Philippine you steal the show! You have that kind of charisma akin to the late, great Alan Rickman. He often played antagonists so well that you found yourself pulling for him rather than the protagonist. (As a woman in my mid fifties, I so appreciate seeing a powerful, beautiful, chic example of a mature woman on screen. Thank you!)

Philippine's accent is very good, but French actress Eva Green's one is better, I think.

Philippe Leroy Beaulieu makes Sylvie a very real person, one of the most interesting characters in the drama.

She become my favorite actress after watching Emily in Paris. From the start of the season she's already my favorite because of her character, apart from her fashion 🥹❣️. Glad to know more about her 🤠☺️
