No, it is not Joe Rogan. The pitch is very different. The tempo and yelling in excitement style are similar :) but it isn’t Joe. Not even to mention that Joe isn’t a climber, but if he were to comment on a climber afraid to jump he would actually give useful advice about how to do it or help her understand that it’s less scary than it she think it is (if the statement about the bubbles is true). And yes, with the way that she went in (feet first) she could EASILY get brain concussion even from 20 feet entry, let alone 50. I have seen it happen to people.

I hate heights, and can think of two times in my life when I've fallen/jumped from quite a high height. Once about twenty years ago when indoor rock climbing. It must have been at least five metres, and the guy at the bottom caught me just before I hit the padding. But there was a rope on the inside of my elbow, which slid along my skin the whole way down, causing a rather nasty rope burn! I've not been since. The other time was a few years later, jumping of a boat in the South China sea with my brothers. It was probably slightly higher than the climbing fall. My brothers were loving it, but I was terrified. After two or three goes, I agreed to do one final jump with them. Unfortunately, whilst flailing my arms in the air, my shoulder felt like it was popping out - had I been on solid ground, I'm sure I could have just wiggled it a bit and that would have been it. Instead, as I hit the water, I dislocated my shoulder. And about two weeks before, I'd damaged some of the muscles in the other shoulder diving in goal during a game of football! Several years later, and both shoulders are still not completely better, especially the one I dislocated. So, I'd say it's definitely dangerous! Not to mention terrifying!
