I totally agree. I listened to this interview and experienced a moment of clarity. 🙌 Society, as we know, continues to be bombarded with the message to “be young forever.” We do not have to accept the narrative of others. Aging is a privilege. I get it now in a way I hadn’t before. 🙏Emily knows what’s up.🫶 Metric’s lyrics and Emily herself, have been both a light and a rock for me during challenging stages of my existence. Fan for life!🤘

unbelievably I only discovered Metric in 2022 yet that is also amazing as I had all this back catalogue to explore and discover. I intuitively understood the ethics, values and perspective and resonated on levels I'm still discovering. Emily is wise, gifted and intelligent and if I resonate then I'll take that as positive feedback to my being.

Love her. She is an amazing song writer and so wise.

As a 34 year old I could not agree more. I have progressed positively as a person immensely as a human in the last 10 years let alone 15. My looks have held up well and I think your attitude and way of thinking has a lot to do with that actually.

Age is a number. Emily has been knocking it out of the park for over 20 years. And the Risk and All Comes Crashing videos proved she's still a stunner at her age.

I discovered Metric around 2013. Nice to see Emily kicking ass still. Age is just a number.

Emily & Jimmy are such wonderful people, I had the honor to have met them on the airplane flying to Mexico City from Houston 11/18/2023, I flew to Mexico to watch them perform their concert with my daughter Beatriz, the concert was amazing btw! I, then, ran into them again later that day at the airport parking lot after deplaning, I asked them if I could have a photo with them and they were so nice about it, they allowed me to take the photo but as it turned out, the photo turned out to be a video selfie because Jimmy took my phone and tried to take the photo himself but depressed the video button instead, by accident, that's how it turned out, a short video of them saying hello. It was such a wonderful moment, a wonderful time of my life. They are so cool and down to Earth. I absolutely love them. They are a class act for sure. The show was freaking awesome!, definitely worth spending a lot of money to see them along with my daughter 11/21/2023. It was an awsome time. I hope they tour again next year, I'd love to see them again.

A lot of wisdom here. I agree their music gets better all the time and for myself I feel like I'm becoming better as a person and learning more about things all the time, though I feel the culture around me telling me I must be getting more stupid and weak all the time now.

If you age no biggie, but your vids will always show how beautifully you rocked .so unassuming and graceful. The dude on the axe is great too.

What Emily says about artists also holds true for us listeners. All them people who proclaim that music from this era or that was the best, and everything beyond that time has gotten worse. That’s total rubbish. Music is only getting better and better. We just have to get of our buts and go looking for it. Cause your local radio station will only feed you the easy listening pulp, commercial interests deem soothing for the masses.

True, I've been a fan for over ten years and she hasn't aged an inch. Kind of surprising because I haven't seen her in the flesh in years. No hint of aging, she's awesome.

I wouldn’t say easy. Went to their show a couple of weeks ago and she looks like she works out a lot. That takes lots of time and discipline especially for people that are constantly traveling
