Emily Blunt is so inspiring. As someone who has a speech impediment, it's amazing to see someone who has or had a stutter overcome obstacles and succeed in your career. Emily Blunt I love you!

It's amazing how much we take school for granted. All these girls who can't go to school but want nothing more than to do so, and we all complain about how we have to go to school all the time. We're so much luckier then we think we are. (By the way, GO EMILY! Good on her)

She probably has an outline and she's reading from it. You can see those two plastic squares on a mount at both of her sides, those reflect the teleprompter to her. Presidents and politicians use them at their speeches. Anyway, she's a great improviser and storyteller by the interviews I've seen of her and even if she's reading, it doesn't feel like she is at all.

I think the facts that she gave about child marriage and 130 million women around the world denied the right to an education was obviously memorized or studied but what she said about her daughters and how she truly feels about Malala seemed truly heartfelt. You don't have to remember much when you say what you are truly feeling. At least I believe that from whatever limited experience of I have of public speaking.

I love the speeches but the audience was terrible. They don't know when to clap or respond or emote. You can't speak publicly without the crowd giving you something back. And hearing like dishes and plates and eating noises was distracting.

It would be great if the US also banned child marriage without exception & prosecuted child abusers instead of forcing abused children to marry them. At the very least (in all states) emancipate the child so they can escape abusive relationships, access financial & social resources to help them.
