I think it's hysterical that Peter is sitting directly under a sign that reads "No filming or photography" in the ER - while you're videoing him! You crazy rule-breakers, you! Daily love 💙

Goodness, Mary! I only had plain XRays and met with my Orthopædic team today and that wiped me out! You're a superstar!! xxxxxx
From the prospective of a vet tech, I would suggest having Ollie wait outside the room when you have xrays taken. Dogs have a smaller boy mass then humans and can be effected by xrays more so then humans, and we advise people with medical support dogs to leave them outside the room when they have xrays taken as the effect does accumulate with each exposure. People that have chronic medical issues and have many xrays taken are exposing their support animals to the xrays in amounts larger then if the dog was having an xray taken. I know most xrays departments ask people that accompany patients to usually step outside or behind a shielded area but often don't consider the animals and I noticed that when you were making this video Ollie was just laying on the floor in the main room while xrays were being taken. Accumulated radiation can result in many health issues for dogs especially as they age. If for some reason the support animal needs to stay in an xray/CT or other imagining room with a patient, which often happens if the dog is a guide dog, a balance dog, or for emotional support we suggest that the xray technician be asked to cover the dog (including their head) with one of the lead aprons they have there for personnel (and sometimes family members that have to stay in the room) to wear. Over the last couple of years medical support dogs are introduced to xray protective aprons as part of their training so that if they will be in an room where radiation is being used they won't be afraid of the shielding - which can feel pretty heavy. I am no sure if its the case with Ollie, that he would need to be present in the room with you the whole time, and if he does not need to be, the best answer is to have him wait in the hallway where he is protected by lead lined walls and doors from exposure. Certainly if he need to be in the room for your support then just ask the xray technician to use an apron on him.
Peter is such a good access nurse!
Haha darth vader put a smile on my face!x
I bought a blanket for my mom for mother's day! So exciting that they're donating to CFF
Love when you two do a fashion show where you talk and Mary displays her outfit no matter what she wears she is so cute, I only saw it one time but thought it was so funny, as I love her sense of humor, just a suggestion and could even talk about her wristbands as bracelets, Thank you two as my husband is very sick and you always make me smile.
You guys crack me up and Peter I totally feel you when there is a misunderstanding, my husband is a retired/disabled Vet and lost his right ear, ear canal and eardrum due to cancer a couple of years ago (and that was the ear he could hear the best out of) so SEVERAL times a day we get a good chuckle at what his interpretations are. You are both such an inspiration and joy to watch. Sending hugs and prayers for you both❤️.
Ok I'm not a Star Wars fan (at all), but that's so awesome that you got Darth Vader to open the vlog lol. Wow! Good job on accessing the port, Peter! I couldn't do that lol. Ugh! I hate hospital gowns! So unfashionable lol. Why can't they at least make them in fun colors?! Major credit to Peter for staying sane and holding everything together through everything. It's not easy, but that's part of what love it. That's what my hubby says whenever I end up in Urgent Care or ER or at the doctor. So glad you didn't end up getting admitted and that it's not a really serious issue! Prayers for continued healing!
I really really hope you feel tons better and pain-free very soon Mary!
I'm so thankful that you guys were able to go home after all the shenanigans you 3 went through. And I'm so amazed with Ollie everytime I see him he's just so relaxed and ready for what's to come. Such a great service dog you have. And loving companion he is. Peter is so amazing with mary. I'm so proud of your relationship you guy have built together. This vlog show a true care giver and chronic health journey with a wonderful service dog/pal/pet
Watching you guys brings joy to my life. I'm sorry you are in the hospital Mary, way to go Peter for hanging in there with her through all this!
i just started following you guys and i love it! I'm so inspired how Mary is optomistic even through CF and how much love and care Peter gives to her. Your faith is amazing and i'm so happy i was able to find your channel!
So relieved you are okay Mary!! Peter I send you so much respect!
I just found The Frey Life channel and I have been watching during a dip in my health. It's great to see a person living life so well with a life long illness. I am getting lots or reinforcements on what I need to work on; -like be a whole person -be greatful, and -laughing everyday. ** Stop being a patient, live life as a person, be the CEO of your own life.
Made me a memory blanket of my Precious Baby kitty Cuddles, (furbaby) who past a year ago April. She was with me 16yrs. Was 2weeks old when I got her!! Was always with me through my darkest of days to my blessings of life!!! Thank you for making it possible to even afford to have such an amazing and important memory to have everyday and currently lonely rough nights with her being gone!! You guys give me strength when I am having difficult days, to keep on keeping on!!! Because I know I can always just remembered to do what I think I can't do!!! You're both quite a blessing to many!!!
Thumbs up for Peter doing such a terrific job while in the middle of all of that activity. And thumbs up to Mary for keeping such an upbeat attitude, doing what I don't think I could do. So glad you got to go home and hope this little difficulty resolves itself very quickly.
Feel better soon Mary. All the Star Wars characters are awesome. You should add Welcome to the Frey Life in Vader's voice to your into.
Today I called several dentists due to a bad tooth and while I didn't get any appointments due to insurance issues I still called them even though I am afraid of them. #Dowhatyouthinkyoucantdo

It is so cool that PrinterPix is supporting CF too!! It makes me extra happy that I ordered a blanket.
So good to hear everything's okay with the surgical site! I've been worried ever since you told us you were having significant pain in the area.
Holy cow! What a day you had. And you took it all in stride, just like a pro. I'm a hospital novice ( I mean, a COMPLETE novice) so my stress level would have been through the roof, but you know the ropes and you understand all the moving parts. I'm glad they didn't find anything seriously wrong, but I sure do hope that your intestines wake up from their slumber soon.
Your relationship with each other is beautiful to watch
Thumbs up for Peter's adaptability to the constancy in which he completes his task with good spirit and encouragement.
I'm so glad it is ok. So sorry that part hasn't woken up yet. You both are troopers
Mary Frey I love you! You are a huge inspiration to me! I love how when everything seems to be running down against you , you seem to face everything with grace and bravery!! You are amazing! I'm sorry you had such a rough day!! I love you very much!! I'm praying for you very very hard!! Thumbs up for Peter and Oliver too!!
I love that Peter is so gentle with you Mary❤️! Mary you are such a trooper! You two are such a beautiful fit for each other❤️❤️
I love that no matter what is going on with Mary, she always takes the time to say what she is thankful for. I am trying hard to take a page out of her book and always find that silver lining.
Mary and Peter thanks for doing these videos!! They make me so appreciative for what i have in my life! I suffer from Major Depression, severe Anxiety plus i have a j-pouch for my Ulcerative Colitis plus other chronic pain issues. You three put a smile on my face so i can deal with my health issues!! So Rosie -my service dog & I are headed out to Celebrate Recovery for my hurts and hangups. We haven't gone there for mths cause I've been mourning my dads death since Christmas morning 2016 and dealing with my increased anxiety/depression. take care love ya god bless ya Rosie and I ☺
So glad you didn't have to be admitted💜 Hope the pain goes away soon!!
Wow, what a day you had! Glad it wasn't more major, hope the pain eases up soon!
Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I love how Ollie stays so close to momma.... constantly taking care of her ❤️
It is a busy day for you but I much rather have this all done at one time than different appointments! That's a great plan!
I love how y'all always stay so positive. Peter you are an amazing man. Always there beside Mary no matter what.
Can I just say that after 6 days of having bronchitis, I look up to you more than ever! TOTAL RESPECT! I've known about CF since I was a kid, because in my next door neighbor's family, 2 of the 4 kids had it. We lived next door to them the whole time I was in secondary school and so I saw the struggles the two went through. One lived to around 30, the other lived to nearly 50! And that's WITHOUT a transplant! In fact, if he hadn't coughed a lot, I never would've known he was sick! He would mow their yard in all sorts of hot weather, on an extremely steep incline, without any problem. He wasn't even diagnosed til he was 12 and got tested because his baby sister was sick from the beginning. He'd always been ill but not severely enough that they tested him for CF, and of course this was many decades ago. Anyway, I've only had bronchitis for 6 days, I can't wait for it to end! The CONSTANT feeling that I can't breathe, coughing fits that produce... well... I'm sure you know, a stomachache from swallowing said mucus if I can't get it out, being winded just by walking up a flight of stairs... it sucks. I haven't been this sick lung-wise since I was a kid and forgot just how much it sucks & how hard it is! I'm 30 and have a life-threatening illness (two actually) so I'm used to dealing with extreme pain on a daily basis but this sucks even worse than that, in my opinion. You are amazing!
Well, the good thing is you were already there and took care of everything in one day and got to go home! I also got an update on my aunt, prayers are working. She's responding a lot better than expected to chemo, so they're taking her off the worst of the drugs and keeping her on the targeted one with fewer side effects and her hair will grow back.
You're both so tough! I had complications from an autoimmune condition that caused my GI track to shut down. They had to give me a ton of drugs to kickstart it, but it really didn't work well for a while. I know your pain! You stayed so positive through the whole long trip, and I'm so happy you were able to go home!
Peter....you really are the best husband! She is so lucky to have you by her side through all of this! 👍🏻

Peter....do you ever get in a bad mood!? You always seem so happy! I love it!
On the 24th, I was given IV contrast for the first time & had anaphylaxis from it! So I actually felt kind of nervous seeing Mary administer it even though she's not allergic :) I'm so glad to see your faces; you guys brighten my day and I love to keep up with how Mary is doing. Thank you Peter and Mary for everything you do for us!
My overcomer bag and don't forget to laugh every day decal arrived! I hung the bag in pride of place in my hospital room and look at it whenever i'm feeling down. the treatment for NTM is making me feel pretty rough but thanks to my Frey Life items I am remembering to laugh every day. so thank you Mary, Peter and Ollie!💕
So glad you guys got to go home and they found no problem with the tube !!
Peter you are so sweet to access her port for her. Great team 💗
Our family is keeping you in our prayers! Love you guys!
Peter is awesome!! God is so good for bringing both of you a helpmate.
Peter does a good job accessing your port #impressive! Keep up the good work Mary! Cheering for you and you're amazing!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Prayers for you guys hope all is well!
You guys are GREAT!!!! I love your sincerity, your honesty, and the love you obviously have for one another!!! I never miss a vlog!!!
I'm so glad your results came back as "normal" Y'all ended your day with an ER visit and we began ours that way. It's so nice when you get to go home to your own bed and crash! Thanks for sharing! Blessings!
Mary and Peter you are the best. Your sense of humor is wonderful 😄
i'm glad you guys didn't have to stay overnight! hope the pain resolves soon!
I got a blanket last time and love it so much, it's my hospital blanket. And I got another one this last time, I'm so excited to get it! They are amazing! So happy about the goal!
Long day! So glad you got to go home.❤️🙏🏼👍🏼🐶
I'm so proud of you both! What a good team you are!!
I love that instead of focusing on the negatives(which would be so easy to do), you think of things that you are thankful for, even in your current situation! 👍
Star husband of the day.......PETER 👍👍👍👍👍👍
KZread auto played a 5 year old video after a current posted one. Crazy to see the physical differences from then to now. So thankful for the New medicine that is saving your life. 💜
High five Mary and a double thumbs up Peter, if every patient had a partner like Peter, my goodness, there would be so many more happy, compliant, survivors in this world.
Oh wow what a day! I'm pleased there's nothing wrong with the surgery and you don't need more. Now at least you know it's all working ok. Hopefully the pain resolves soon. Take care and kisses to Ollie xx
You two are such lovely humans
You are a good man, Peter.
I bought a printerpix blanket!! So glad they are donating from the sales!
I have some heating pads that are reusable and I love them. They come in a lot of different sizes and stay very warm for a while. If you just look up "reusable heating pack with button" you should be able to buy some in amazon. I've also found them at TJ Maxx. All you have to do to heat them up is pop a little button inside of it and within 20 seconds it will be hot. When you're done using it, you can just boil it in water for a half hour and it'll be as good as new. I sometimes use them to help with cramps or to warm me up at band events in the winter. I own one that's fairly big and fits on your back, a few that are hand sized, a few pocket sized, and a couple others. I love them and you'll probably get more use out of them than just heat for your incision.
I hope that you eventually get everything sorted out.
So glad the issue will sort itself out & you don't need surgery.
Bless your hearts. Feel better Mary.
I'm glad your Ok Mary. Hospitals are not fun places! You are so fortunate to have Peter and Ollie. A Lot of us that are sick are alone so you are lucky girl. Keep getting better.
Mary you are so strong, I just got my J Tube 15 days ago. It's all new to me and kinda scary. Props to you Girl x
Yeah! Pinterpix!! I bought a blanket!! So happy all went well with the CT! Hang in there you two ! 🎉💝
you guys are always so positive!
Glad everything turned out to be okay!
It’s good that Peter knows how to help you with everything. Thumbs up 👍 Peter.
It took my gi tract to fully wake up after a month, I couldn't get my rate past 50ml/hr for all that time, and had to go up really slowly. I spent three weeks in the hospital due to pain and not tolerating feeds, so you're not alone in having this happen. Glad that you got to go home after such a long day. You guys rock!
Perks of having all of your doctors in one place!!! I have my doctors split between two hospitals so it can be frustrating when my endocrinologist and pain management and gi are at the Vanderbilt university hospital and my primary and rheumatologist and some others are at a smaller hospital that's easier to get into (Vanderbilt takes at least a month to get in with a doctor but I've waited over a year for one so the more emergency appointments I try to get in with my St. Thomas drs and transfer to vandy if need be) plus Vanderbilts er is ALWAYS jam packed and I'm immunocompromised as well but when they're busy they have nowhere to put me so I usually go to my other hospitals er plus there I can go online before I leave the house and basically make an appointment to be seen at the ER so it goes much more smoothly. But before I moved my doctors were spread across 3-4 hospitals that were hours away from each other so this is way better cause both of my hospitals are within 5 minutes from each other 👍🏼 Anyways, I hope you guys rested it up today and I'm praying that the pain gets better soon 💖 I know how draining it is to deal with pain that won't go away (6 chronic pain conditions make it hard for me to do much other than dr appointments lol) but I know that God is with us and cheering us on! There's a shirt that I *almost* bought that says "God only gives you as much as you can handle...apparently God thinks I'm a badass" 😂🙈😁💕 but next time the pain gets really bad or things seem overwhelming, listen to "Strong Enough" by Matthew West. It's perfect for our situations. Sending love and spoons 🥄 💖
you guys are so inspiring! thankyou for making my life better.
You both rock!!! And sweet Ollie!! You constantly amaze me and inspire me!!
feel better! ive done my first vlog after you guys have literally flipped my perspective on life ❤
Never thought I would be watching this Mary, as I am progressing through the unknown with a large esophagael blockage and giant paraesphogael hernia (a third of my stomach is in my chest). Researching through as we do, they started talking about a J tube if it is warranted. Thank you so much for documenting your journey through this process. The medical site actual took me to your videos. It seemed funny as I have been following you, Peter and Ollie for sometime. I still have my fingers crossed I won't need a J Tube. After my GP's reaction to my Barium Swallow, I am making sure I am ready with all my questions for when I see a Surgeon. The waiting game is the worse and sort of the unknown. You had a really tough time through this procedure, I am so sorry especially with you being so young . You were so lucky to have the support of Peter and Ollie. Ollie was so adorable throughout, especially when you were going into theatre and until he reunited with you. I sincerely hope you are doing better after your last five week round of IVs. You are looking good anyway. Thanks you and Peter for your video, so much.
OMG Mary I am so jealous that you got to meet the troopers, rebels however Chewbacca is my favourite. When I saw him I was all excited hahaha. My bf turned me into a geek and I love it!
Mary, You are so brave, I am humbled by your faith, attitude, and strength. God bless you both so much.
I always pack a small bag every time I go in to see my neurosurgeon or whatever appointment I go to because I've had several surprise admissions. Don't forget to pack an extra charger too! lol but so thankful you got to go home! 💖
So glad you didn't have to go back to surgery. I was a little concerned about that. I've had an ileus and it's super painful. I pray for you that it resolves soon.
I truly admire how both of you have amazing attitudes, even when your exhausted. I hope you guys both got so sleep. 😊
Lol I got goose bumps when dark vaeda said WELCOME TO THE FRY LIFE
Great news!! Go home and rest you too and Ollie.♥♥♥
Hope all goes well Mary sending my prayers your way
You guys are awesome. Mary stay strong 💪🏽 your body is a trooper👍🏽
aww I love how ollie boy laid on marys ankles whilst waiting. he's so cute
Oh, thank goodness all is well. You are such a trooper. Sorry about your pain. Feel bwtter soon.
Through it all she smiles..You both rock.
You two are amazing. Thank you for sharing your story with us👍🏻
You both are really amazing and Mary you're so lucky that you have a man like Peter for all of you support!!! Peter you really do deserve a medal or an award for the best husband ever!!! Love you guys and that goes for Oliver as well!!!
Those costumes were so good too!!! How wonderful, I'm sure the kids in the hospital loved it! :D also I hope your wounds feel better soon, Mary... you've had so many complications with these J and G tubes :'( plus, healing from surgery is never fun!! HANG IN THERE! x
I have it too the pain i mean because I have digestive tract paralysis Im feeling for you!'
