You have some very neat emergency supplies in your backpack, thank goodness. I have what we call here, in the US, a "Bug-Out Bag"...large, like yours backpack. I have tons of things in it, just in case, I have to "Bug Out"...comes in handy & makes me feel a bit better, knowing I have everything in it, I could possibly think of, for emergencies. In all of these abandoned places, have you ever found another person, by surprise in any of them? My late husband & I used to camp on the weekends a lot...we loved it. After a long week of work, it was nice to get away from people & enjoy the peace & quiet of fishing, cooking over a wood fire & just enjoying the camp fire together. I miss those days & wish I could still get out to enjoy some outdoor adventures, but because I'm a lot older & my health isn't the best anymore, I guess I'll just remember & dream or just watch you & dream of some of the places I wish I'd seen for myself! Blessings my friend...stay safe & well. 💜

I'd prefer a door or a small fire set amid a shelter doorway. Or, camped in the calm lee of ruin between two small fires. Latter choice is probably warmer. Old wood ruins often have ants and bark grubs for snack choices.
