emergency bulkhead light fit 52
I bought an Ansell emergency light fitting and found that the instructions left a little to be desired.
I guess that an electrician would know what to do, and so understand the limited information. Having said that the first instruction is ..... turn the power supply off !
From a practical point of view my shed electrics have never blown so I do not have a particular need for the emergency functionality. However the charging light is bright enough to for me to find the light switch on a dark night .... and it might save my bacon one day.

thanks for explanation
Thank you
Thanks shed guy. Just taken in a job doing these… what could possibly go wrong 😂
Thanks for the vid, Ive got two to replace tomorrow. I know where the test switches are for them, but wont be a good idea to isolate using them. Hopefully will find the breaker feeding these 😁
Thank you.
Thanks, now I got my one working😅
I just want my light to come on when the power has been cut, does it matter which port i put it in on the permanent live and neutral? Think i might have a defective batch as the light just stays on and its killing off the battery, to top it off the charge indicator light doesnt light up either?
Great vidio mate i have a lot of these becouse in winter is everyones boiling the kettles the power goes out!Cant see i have the same ones so now when the powers off we can see!
Thanks for that i was wondering if the jumper was the switch for maintained and non-maintained.
Do you know where I could order some wire in order to extend the mains wires to the terminal of a fitting? I.E for those situations where the mains wires don't reach the light and need to be extended using other wires?
