In this video, EMDR master clinician and trainer Dr. Jamie Marich demonstrates the future template technique with a volunteer, Jacque. This particular videos shows how an installed positive cognition from the main targeting sequence can be applied to future scenarios; in this case, the volunteer's reactions/responses to a political figure.

What a wonderful topic and example. She sees the cruelty and injustice but wants to understand rather than being angry. One of the most powerful EMDRs I've seen. Incredibly grateful she allowed this to be recorded.

Hi Jamie. Appreciate all you’re doing ! I’ve been doing EMDR for about 2 months now and everything up until now has been a past memory but now I am having a fear about the future, however i do not want to go too much into detail when doing emdr, do you think that the future template would be appropriate for me in this situation?

I don't understand how this is the future template. She has processed a present trigger and installed a PC but not actually gone ahead and done a future template?
