I wish there were more expressive art demos on KZread this is very helpful as I am a counseling student working toward a REAT cert.

Was thinking the same thing Laura, I am putting together a five session course on this very topic. I think the key feature I cannot find much on is sensory integration as part of the Expressive Arts Therapy-EMDR-Sensory Processing "triad." That's where I am headed-- and such a powerful process, EMDR. I studied with "the goat" -- Francine Shapiro, now deceased. So grateful.

it is so hard to find a good therapist who can make a change happen....i don't know where to find one.

They all have different approaches and techniques, look into what you know would help your issues and optimal wellbeing. For people struggling with narcissism/histrionic PD, self destructive tendicies ect .. CBT and solution focused may be good approach.. or just general anxiety, depression and daily problem perhaps you’d like strength based/ positive psychology approach…find someone that suits you . Teletherapy is great for those who can’t find local therapists.
