EMDR and Creative Arts Therapies

In this interview with Rotem Brayer, Peggy Kolodny, Elizabeth Davis, and Sherri Jacobs, co-editors of the book EMDR and Creative Arts Therapies share their insights on how to integrate art therapy with EMDR therapy. Peggy also shares how EMDR, art therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy all blend together.
This video can be especially helpful for EMDR therapists who want to be creative in their work.

I am confused- are you providing evidence-based data on these integrative “creative arts therapy” scripts for these procedures? Or are you talking about Expressive Arts Therapy (the terms are not the same, but sometimes “expressive” emerges here) and EMDR? On a literature search I cannot find any research data except for EMDR itself. Interested in support for value added aspects aside from subjective data. Thank you!

Thanks for liking my comment- apparently we have to assume this book is not evidence based? I have been reading it and I am still confused about this.

Multiple brain therapy is also therapy that grounds the client -- the head, the heart and the gut.
