The bass just makes you feel like your in the cab sitting in the drivers seat, it gives the sensation of the seat rumbling due to the engine.

I just noticed the unit in the picture is NS 1071. Also the bass and the radio chatter give the illusion of being in the cab next to the control stand. Great work. Keep it up!

I hear this everyday passing my house in full output. Usually puts me to sleep at night when they sit waiting on other cars to hook up, they never idle it down for some reason.

Wish they still had EMD trains's around me, just GE's. I work on the river and get to hear the EMD boats all day tho.

Only good thing about the aces is the engine noise puts you to sleep

That’s because it’s the same prime mover, It’s a 710 from EMD. Which if I remember correctly built the wdp4 and other “Indian” locomotives for India. Up until they started going full electric

Hey is there any way you could release this video without the chatter? I like using clips like these to help me fall asleep, low frequency sound like this is the only thing that really helps with my insomnia weirdly enough. I've found one at low idle but this is even better, save for the crew chatter. (Not that I dislike crew chatter it's just hard to sleep to). Sorry to bother you about it, but I have to ask!

It was just a built in camera mic. No aftermarket microphones. I did mess with the bass in a audio editor for the effects but thats about it
