Embryo Crown Lakes - Peterborough | Danny Fairbrass Carp Fishing 2018

Спорт

Danny Fairbrass carp fishes on a brand new carp fishing lake called Crown Lakes, located in Peterborough. The first people to fish the lake properly are Danny and John Willis aka “the greebo”, a friend of Dans, meet up for a very insightful social. The session is about catching fish and catching up, the guys are certain to catch a few of these “virgin” fish but what will the lake produce? In true Korda style Danny talks through the tactics of how to fish a deep lake (Crown is 45ft deep in places) that you will be able to transfer into your own fishing to hopefully get a few more bites.
The lake is part of www.embryoangling.org and memberships are available NOW for those watching and day dreaming of fishing this venue. The team at Embryo have recently created all new swims for the lake and last winter (2017) 370 carp were stocked between 10lb and 25lb. Set in the grounds of a public Country Park, the steep banks and large reed-beds gives this lake an abundance of atmosphere, showing you exactly what the lake has in store for the future. Recent catches include carp to
SLR Marker float work, PVA bags, Spinner Rigs, Pop-ups and Heli-safe set ups all feature to make up this old fashioned “smash em up” style film with carp, carp and more carp.

Love the video, the tips and information shared! Love the way Danny Fairbrass has presented all and I will keep watching Korda's productions, as well as using Korda tackle. The EE comment didn't sound right but - truth is truth. I am from an EE country, from Bulgaria. But I also feel the respect and support of all the members of the angling club I am part of (99% of them are English). And it is my duty to show them and every other angler, that not all EE anglers are the same. I am also trying to educate my girlfriend that you can't just take a fish out once being caught and that it is a sport called "Pleasure Angling" :) So Korda team, keep going and I really wish I could fish with some of your anglers at our club lake. Must warn you - it is not an easy lake! :))

I appreciate some deep lakes coming around in the UK. It literally adds a whole other dimension to the fishing. When someone is fishing a shallow lake they pretty much only have X and Y to deal with but with deep lakes there's X, Y, and Z. This completely changes how an angler tackles a water in many situations. Sucks that you guys have to pay to go to any decent lake though. :(

Same with my local lake they come at night and put set lines out armed with multiple huge barbed hooks usually baited with sweetcorn , and they tether them from the bottom of the fishing platform legs so you can't see them . when we cottoned on to what was happening we waited one night till they parked up and then slashed all their car tyres . Next time they came in the dead of night with an inflatable dinghy and nets , we again slashed the tyres then kicked the shit out of them and they haven't been back ! but there is always next year i suppose !

What is true...is true! Catch and release is something new for us. We (EE) will need generations to evolve in our mantality, in so many directions, about so many things. First of foremost we don't cherish and respect live in general - see what is going on in the small vilages probably in all parts of Eastern Europe, vilagers USE animals for living and those animals they can't use are useless - dogs, cats which they kill just like that, on a daily basis...it's something normal which people don't regret doing it. Why buying fish while they can catch it in public pond and take it home?! We don't respect law, we don't respect each other, we don't respect anything. Sorry for saying it but it's an "animal kingdom" here. And I feel sorry for all the western countries which open their borders for everybody. They had to do it for those who can give them something - high educated people with the right perspective obout live, people who obey law.

Do not forget Mr. DF you are making loads of money from EE a nglers. Reply from Danny F Dear Slevin, Valius and other EE Anglers No offence was intended towards EE people or EE anglers generally, I understand how you feel aggrieved and I apologise for not being more specific. I had no idea it would be taken as it has been. The fact is some local Eastern European people have been casting spinners at the carp in an attempt to foul hook them, fish have been seen trailing spinners and wire traces. They have also left literally piles of rubbish all around the park and in the swims. They have been challenged and often react aggressively towards local residents and our staff. You are correct, bad people are bad people and all countries suffer from them but these problems have been very specific. I welcome your help with this by emailing me at info@korda.co.uk. If you would help to educate the locals in order to prevent these problems I would be honoured. Next time can I please ask you contact Korda or Embryo direct to get the full picture before assuming the worst case scenario. I am known for having the highest regard for my fellow anglers and would never publicly criticise an entire nation!

im from croatia, so i am an eastern european(sort of), and i am a carp angler. and everything that danny said in his comment is true, atleast here. people here are scum, dont want to call them anglers... they plunder most of the waters if not atended in very short time. its all about taking fish to their freezer, throwing fish from hight in the water, torn lips, trolling carp with heavy spinning gear with multiple treble hooks and hooking them on their backs... etc... on every single mildly attended lake...

In top of it they left cans of beers and garbage all over the place, we all need to collaborate and stop this by taking care of our lakes.

DF, Before making such comments about EE nations ensure you have a proof, in legal terms, you are making allegations publicly againts EE nations without the proof. Do you know what happens when you make false accusations against the whole nation, or in this case nations? Take it however you want, but a man at your public and business level should have more respect to others. In every nation there is good and bad. If someone is breaking a law or the rules let them be judged by those who impose those laws or lawfull authorities. You are nobody when it comes to law, you are just another angler, therefore you have no right to make such comments or judgements about EE nations. I strongly believe that once EE anglers through Europe see this video, they will make their own judgement when it comes to choosing DF related angling products. Little advice - if you have problem with the individuals, take it up with them in correct manner. Regards, AM
