EMBRACING MY FEMININITY 💕

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Femininity: qualities or attributes regarded as characteristic of women 🩷 to be honest femininity has always confused me. What on earth does this definition mean?? women can be strong, brave, gentle, kindle, fearless, elegant and so much more so what qualities or attiributes describe all women?? as I get older I find myself embracing “girly” things more, where as my entire life I’ve fought being anything BUT “girly”. Looking back I think I’ve subconsciously associated frilly dresses with being dimwitted & unsuccessful. While I’ve viewed more masculine clothes with intelligence and success. Which truly breaks my heart that I thought this way, but I’m being honest with you on how society has impacted my perception. I now know you can wear a pink, floral twirly dress AND be wise & successful. At the end of the day, I’m most comfortable with my hair in a ponytail and jeans and t shirt and that’s ok, femininity is what you make it. But I will be adding more “girly” pieces to my wardrobe soon. Do you find yourself to love frilly dresses or jeans & a tee? ✨🫶🩷👯‍♀️🍒 #feminine #cottagecore #femininity #girlydress #femininefashion #feminineenergy

Definitely jeans and over sized sweatshirts for me. That is comfy and what I love the most.

When I got married that’s when I started to feel really girly. I grew up a tomboy and still am to this day, however my husband changed all that. He’s a manly man, I don’t know how else to describe that other than his masculinity helped bring out my femininity. Does that make sense?

100% same. I still have my tomboy nature, but I found that I was embracing it so hard and shunning femininity just as hard because I didn't feel safe enough to be that soft, gentle, and vulnerable. Now, with him, I do! :D

I love dresses like that! I think it could look serious if you wore it with a well-cut jacket. I’ve always been a girly-girl with clothes. Makeup and nails not so much 😂

Funny I'm the exact opposite I express my girly side through makeup but wear jeans and such that I can still run around in and be prepared for anything.

I grew up wearing shorts and jeans at home and riding bikes and climbing trees. But always wore cute dresses/skirts for church or good occasions. I love being feminine 👗 👡but also practical when needed👚👖🥿

A couple years back, I decided I only want to wear dresses/skirts when I go out. I sew as well, so I make all my dresses and its so... I don't even know how to put it into words.
