The problem is that Embiid plays really bad when it matters the most and can't close out important games. In quarters 1-3, he played as well as in the regular season, averaging 8,8 points per quarter. But in tight 4th quarters (all games except game 3) he averaged 4 points! Think about that, that's an average of 16 pts/game. Dude simply can't play well under pressure.

Plus you mentioned Harden and Harris, but left out Butler. Harris has had the second longest run over that time period and Embiid has still been there 4 years longer. Tobias Harris over me?!
As a fan, this year I'm not blaming Embiid. His effort is not in question. He was amazing in that game and exceeded expectations when you consider his health. Maxey was not having a good game and he was too focused on getting calls, Nick Nurse had idiotic lineups out there in big time moments, Tobias Harris is not a threat and did absolutely nothing in 29min of play. The team in general is too focused on out-talenting other teams instead of having an actual offense with schemes and counters. The defense only ever peaks in desperation situations instead of staying tough and consistent throughout. Should've never got rid of Matisse, we need to remove Tobias Harris from the team, sign more athletic players that can rebound and defend, and stop making so many excuses. Stop relying on the refs to win you the game

Embiid is a weapon. Perhaps the most powerful weapon in the league when he is healthy, but he is not a leader. He's a front runner. When he was down 0-2 and he felt like he wasn't getting calls, he quit. Him trying to injure Robinson was disgustingly dirty, but it was also an "i give up moment." He did something that should have gotten him tossed because things were not going his way. In game 6, when the lead got big, he quit. Went to the locker room. Then he saw the team battling back without him, so he came back. At every stretch where it seemed the Sixers had control of the game, Embiid was an engaged and active leader. Talking to his guys, cheering them, directing them. Every single time the Knicks punched back, Embiid looked like he was feeling sorry for himself and stopped rallying his troops.

I picked the Knicks to win in 6 games. Embiid choking in the playoffs happened again!!! Pacers vs Knicks is going to be good series I think the Pacers win in 7 games it could go either way
One of the most dominant players in the league , who played through injury and being out of shape because of the injury can’t be the face of a franchise?
Almost 10 yrs in Joel still needs more help. He needs a back up so he can get a breather without the team going down 10 pts.
Leave the guy alone. He's playing banged up. Man I need seen so many sofa warriors

Glorified SCRUB!!
Bruh had a pretty good series. Look at what his teammates did. Maxey had far from his best game, Tobias did cardio. So who's the face of the team? Because he's been the best player on it for years. I understand the idea of certain players probably never winning as the best player of the team, but it'll take a pretty special player to outperform Embiid. Also, I want SAS to keep that same energy for Brunson. I'd be shocked if he leads his team to a championship, but SAS will sit there and act like he's turning water into wine.
blamed butler then they let him go(pretended not to, he is the franchise player so HE DID NOT KNOW WHY?) blamed bsimmons(go mental breakdown after betrayal), blamed doc rivers, blamed harden, blamed everyone. now karma got to him after getting the PITTY MVP .karma is balanced and fair
