I named my daughter emma rose. Not specifically for this band at the time. But it crossed my mind shortly after we decided. And I'm so happy I did. Such an amazing group. So much talent

I remember warped tour 09. He put his hand on my shoulder and all of Emarosa signed a To Write Love On Her Arms fan. I ended up giving it to a friend for his birthday.

His voice will forever be my favorite

Years later and this song still gets to me. Extraordinary talent in this band, with or without Jonny.

I couldn't agree more! I feel that way with all of the bands he's been in honestly. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED Kurt Travis in Dance Gavin Dance, but Jonny's voice is too unique. He makes any band honestly.

I prefer Jonny in Dance Gavin Dance and Emarosa, and I like Kurt Travis in A Lot Like Birds. Tilian Pearson has a nice voice, and the new singer of Emarosa isn't bad, but none of them come close to Jonny's range. The thing that sets Kurt apart is the fact that he does both unclean and clean vocals so well.

I cry every time I listen to this song. When Jonny hits the notes at 1:03, something inside me just makes me tear up. Emarosa is amazing.

What worries people about Jonny is that he has a damn gifted voice, it's difficult to find a vocalist like him. But you're right: a good song is the result of ALL the musicians working together, not just the lead singer; but most people tend to pay more attention to him because is what is in the front most of the time. I hope they'll find a vocal just as good as him; even if it's difficult, Impossible is nothing. I salute you :).
