2023 here...Illuminaudio is still their best album.

The fact that this song, no, actually this whole ALBUM has held up better than almost anything else from this era/genre is a testament to how next level these guys actually were in this iteration. Masterclass-level stuff.

Unpopular opinion: This was the best Chiodos line up. Loved Craig Owens but Illuminaudio was such an amazing album and if they kept going between Brandon's vocal and electronic abilities and the bands musical talents they could've been something absolutely next generation. Ah well RIP.

This album should get WAAAAAY more love than it does.

Post hardcore isn't dead. I still go back and listen to everything, Chiodos, Silverstein, Senses Fail, The Used, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Story of the Year, etc. At least half those bands made an album in the last few years. This genre of music will never die, as long as the fans keep listening and the bands keep making music.

I completely agree with you bro, he's better than the original singer and in my opinion illuminadio is their best release.

This song has helped me realize that I really am afraid to take chances... Now, I'm no longer afraid to move forward from the shadows of my past. Thanks Chiodos! You guys are BADASS and you KICKASS! Keep kicking ass and being badass!

Still think this is their most hype song. The mid song breakdowns are just too strong. And that drum lick in the middle just destroyed me. Also 3:06 gets me everytime. Completely stripping everything besides the drums and the heavy bass line

Dude whoever filmed this video did an absolutely amazing job. Stellar shots all the way through. And this track is Bangin 10 years later!

The way they say "na na na na na na na na na" sounds like the neverending story theme song and the singing style sounds just like the sound of the song for the neverending story.

Such a strong album

i miss this vocalist. He's a better singer and screamer. Craig was much better in D.R.U.G.S. than he ever was in Chiodos anyway

Why have I not heard this song until now. So awesome!

Ive been listening to Chiodos for the past 8 years and never got to see them live, until they were a surprise opener for Bullet for my Valentine 2 years ago in San Francisco. They have actually surprised me by keeping their sound alive and not selling out like The used, Story of the year and many more.

Manea Andrei well, considering they broke up, probably no one is going to do that.

Derrick is back in Chiodos, and both him and Tanner Wayne (the guy who handled the drumming on Illuminaudio) are terrific drummers.

2020 - I still love it , and listening everytime

I love Craig Owens to death and I listen to all his records but Illuminaudio IS the best Chiodos album for me. No fucking doubt 💯 And that drummer though. Who gave him the permission to go hard?

to me one of their best, the forgotten album, but the album I believe made them push themselves musically. I believe of they still kept brandon and tanner they may still be active. I feel like craig just used them and left them hanging.

i saw these in sheffield the other nice, oh my, i was instantly in love!

i prefer chiodos with brandon much more than craig. the only song i liked with craig was undertaker. musically this album sounds much different from all their stuff with craig too. this album has a heavy, deep atmosphere where as old music with craig and the new album with craig sounds kinda hollow

***** Honestly i think every song should have at least 3 or 4 breakdowns, just think about it. Every song would be infinitely better with breakdowns, breakdowns are so amazing even bands like the Beatles would be better with them. In my opinion if a song doesn't have a breakdown or 5 i think that song is not unique and is just a bad song.

Brandon was great, but Craig's voice is just fucking epic.

Cant decide if I like Chiodos better with Craig Owens or Brandon Bolmer. My loyalty to Chiodos tells me I should like Craig Owens better but I dont know, Brandon just made amazing music with chiodos. I wish Craig wouldve kept making wierd amazing music with DRUGS and Chiodos shouldve kept on rolling with Brandon so we couldve had two amazing bands. Craig splitting with Chiodos did for us what Anthony Green did for us when he left Saosin and gave us two great bands to listen to instead for a brief period of time.

Will people ever stop saying that everything's generic. The lyrics are but the instrumentals are far from being generic, especially in the post-hardcore genre and when this came out. Generic is breakdowns every 30 seconds with an over simplistic song structure and in general, just something that sounds like every other band in the scene. This didn't.

Ryan Blair This was out in 2010 when Post-Hardcore was all about crabcore/synthcore bands. This still had a early 00's Post-Hardcore feel to it which to me wasn't generic since bands stopped doing it at this point, but whatever, it's not unique and it's Chiodos's worst stuff instrumentally imo but it's still not something that I would classify as generic, not at all.

I'm so annoyed about Tanner and Brandon's departures. I really miss them on the new album, I'm just not such a fan of Craig's voice.

Brandon is like a Craig that can actually sing and scream well. He's the better version of Craig without a doubt. He just didnt have the same star power though sadly.
