This brings back the memories of my 2009-2011 emo/scene days. I used to listen to this song every day, not even aware of what it was about.

I'm glad I was 16-20 y/o in that era of time. Soo many good bands in the post-hardcore sound back then. 2007-2011 was the creme de la creme for the good post-hardcore sound. After that it was too chugga chugga and most bands either quit or started losing the melody aspect of the genre and the sound changed. Props to Agraceful. Music is timeless. Cheers, guys.

Chris Roetter never disappoints. From Emarosa to Agraceful to Like Moths to Flames. He is just fucking great.
Praying God leads these guys home again. Such a great song

I have loved this song for years. It helps me so much when I'm going through hard times. It is such a great reminder that God will always be there even if you feel like he is not. We are all part of a story, and even when shitty things happen we can always count on the fact that God has a reason for it all and won't desert us. It's sad that Chris has lost so much of his faith, but at the same time I completely understand what it is like. I'm still fighting with my faith and still angry at God for feeling like he has been ignoring me, but these lyrics still hold so much truth and remind me that he is still there and hasn't left me. He has a reason for allowing me to struggle with the things I struggle with and I look forward to growing and overcoming those struggles and continuing my story with Christ at the center!

Gracias por darme la tranquilidad tantos años escuchándote, te recordé en estos momentos, gracias por darme siempre ese impulso
My God so desperately I watched them calling for You To bring down Your hands To make this all okay To make us whole again And now so desperately I have been calling for You To bring down Your hands To make this all okay To bring me home And He said I will carry you home again, home tonight I will carry you to let you fly, to let you fly And now so desperately I have been waiting for You To bring down Your hands To make this all okay To make me whole again I know that this is the way I know that this is the way You planned for it I will carry you home again, home tonight I will carry you to let you fly, to let you fly I will carry you home again, home tonight I will carry you to let you fly, to let you fly
real talent. he puts so much feeling in his voice. i mean he could sing about a hot dog with this voice and i could cry ;_; that proves he is amazing in my opinion at least c:

the hot dog dies and he sings as it bleeds out on the street cold and alone. 😢
I have never been religious; I was turned away from being super into church by the greed and mistreatment of those with less to give (me) now I'm 22, completely set in my mind and happy with myself, Philosopical, happy, fair, loving, and I will FOREVER love this song. Good music is good music, you don't have to associate like or dislike with their beliefs, because people do that enough already.
Everytime I listen this song I remember my sweet baby Matt Paquette,I can't describe what I feel, I'm always listening this music snd crying at the same time. RIP Matt, you didn't deserve what they did to you,but that was your choice, you choose to leave us forever, but u'll always be there,in our hearts,so this music make me sad but happy at the same time because it reminds me when you were happy and when you were alive....

He's showing emotion cuz he's singing about jesus christ:] I don't know if you've noticed but christians show alot of emotion when they embrace god. There's alot of feeling behind worshiping god guys:] It's breath taking.

Chris went to high school with me briefly, and [years later] my college friend had a familiar shirt that Chris always wore and I was asked where he got it and then I found out where Chris went after he left my high school!
He never forgets to mess up his hair. Not back then, not now, not ever.

this sounds beautiful, there's no screaming, just pure vocals, very clean. i love it:)
Although, I am not a firm believer in the Christian GOD. I do agree with you. Humanity was bound for failure from the start, our EGO and drive to "better" ourselves has lead us all astray.

This poor man, Chris Roetter. This song is so uplifting and beautiful, but now his music is so dark and angry. I love both this and his music with Like Moths to Flames, but gosh, he just sounds so hurt. I can only imagine the pain he had to have felt to bring such a 180 like that. Such a good vocalist, then AND now. I will be following his music everywhere he goes, but I am truly hoping he one day finds the hope and joy of Christ again.

Muito linda essa música.
So no matter what you may be going through, God is holding you in his hand and He won't let you fall. Whatever your story is God has a plan for it all. He uses situations and circumstances for the better. He loves each and every one of you, and spills incredible undeserving grace upon us all.

Agraceful was on Sumerian. Once fulfilling their contract or whatever and splitting ways, Chris joined Emarosa and got signed to Rise, but left shortly after being signed so after leaving Rise signed him in LMTF so he could fulfill his contract with them. That's what I've been told at least.

Personally, I think his screams are fucking amazing. The band is great but they're nothing fascinating. Typical post-hardcore. I wish they brought something new to the table. Plus, (I should probably look his name up) the lead vocalist runs out of breath really really easily when performing live.

Peyton Weir untill he realizes how much meaning his life has, sure he has alot of fans but what about when he is on his deathbed. He is gonna regret doing all the crap he does now because he most likely wont live passed the age of 40 because of it. I just think hes gonna look back and wish he had stayed on the path he was on when he wrote this song. The songs by Like moths to flames are literally nothing but worthless words. Even if your not christian, at least AGRACEFUL had a positive message. He's going to regret the decision.
@jungle7794

Michael Sparks Who the fuck are you to say what Chris is going to think on his deathbed? That is beyond messed up to think that you have the authority to make that decision for him. Chris will do as he pleases, make the music he enjoys creating, write the lyrics that hit home hardest for him, & live his life as he wants to. YOU are the reason that many people dislike Christianity as a religion. As Chris would say, I think that you should "learn your place."

I love non-mainstream videos like this. I always dreamed to live the life of being in a bands with a few friends and other good artist, but the world today I can't have dreams like that. I feel this is the best way of expression and I'm sure people would enjoy what I have to express, but they'll probably never know.
