I haven't listened to Emarosa since I saw them on Warped Tour in 2011 or 12, idr. I had completely forgotten about them post-Jonny. I honestly had forgotten about them. I clicked on this not expecting this sound as all. I'm so ridiculously pleasantly surprised. This shit slaps. This shit has some stank on it. Huge fan of this sound.

Prior to this album he had to conform his style to Johnny Craig Emarosa out of pressure. This album they lost everyone by E.R. so they said screw it, let's do what we want. Bobby, Bradley, ER, and Marcellus are all great guys and I love them

@@christophercoates9 which is what most bands should do after they lose a singer.. change your sound and identity to make a new fan base and direction for your band.. jonny is too hard to follow up anyways.. sucha unique voice kinda hard to copy

Anthony Hicks I was thinking the same. Sad that they sound like this now. I get it if they want to grow away from the sound they had with Johnny but it seems like the label is pushing them to go radio.

Drew Good it’s not the label it’s them. If you’ve listened to the previous two Bradley albums there’s always a little nod to an 80s rock song. He loves pop. And modern rock pop is having a moment with bands like the 1975.

I've been listening to Emarosa since before Johnny Craig you should have heard them when they were a scremo band. They are in NO way the same band listen to the he is ocean I am waves record you'll see what I'm talking about my favorite song is Utah but I'm taller. This band has come a looooong way saw them live with Johnny Craig too I really dig the way they sound now to be completely honest.

I found them with songs like this and then put on a playlist of them and the screemo stuff played and I got confused... Two different bands entirely and I wasn't in the screemo mood lol

Am I the only one who prefers the live chorus? Nothing wrong with the recorded version but I think live actually sounds amazing
