This may be the best performance of his career. So glad this was recorded.

I think this was Jonny at his best. Nice mix of his DBM-period highs and his powerful, raspy voice he has now.

Still banging in 2023

I went to go see Johnny on Nov 24 and it was the best concert I ever went to. He sang Emarosa songs and some of his solo songs. He played this song and it was the best live vocal performance that I have ever seen in my 12 years of life. I am a DGD fan, Royal Coda, Emarosa, Underoath, Eidola, Secret Band, A lot like birds.

I was gonna go to TPSSD tour show but i didnt like how his friend would sing with him. kinda turned me away from it

Jonny was an incredible front man. If he could've avoided drugs at all costs, Emarosa would have seen heights unimaginable.

Its a vocal technique called belting. It damaged his voice in the long run.

2:03 to 2:30 is also huge. The switch from his soft voice to gritty voice is so seamless it almost seems unreal

saw them in my hometown new orleans and we were late, so walking up to the show we thought they were playing the cd via the soundsystem. His voice is pitch perfect and they play tight- they were amazing, not many vocalists can equal his level of passion and energy

+Sparkfx Yeah man, Jonny is always on point, and probably one of the best vocalists in the post-hardcore scene IMO. It would be legendary to see him with Emarosa again
