One of the main things to do to get offered a research assistantship before landing in the USA is to contact professors way ahead of applying to the university. I have divided this process into two videos; the first task is to search for professors who share similar research interests or can be the new research interests you want to start in the future.

This is the second part which is the writing of an actual email. But remember, every email should be modified according to the professor; eventually, you will find your own way. This is just to give an idea of how it is done in the very beginning.

Few things about me:
* What am I studying?
--- I'm doing a Master's in Plant, Environmental, and Soil Sciences, specializing in precision agriculture.
* Did I get a scholarship?
--- Yes, I got a research assistantship, which means that Iam working as a research assistant, I get a monthly stipend as a living expense and my tuition fee is waived.
*How did I get the assistantship?
--- I have made a full video on the process in detail. I really hope that would help other students aspiring to study abroad.

Is it practically effective to send email to same professor multiple times in different periods, being not seen, ignored or whatever sent email, or ground one professor with one email for all as a rule ?

You can send follow up email to the same professor but not in too short period. You can keep maybe one month gap. You can install email tracker extension to see if professor has opened your email or not.
When to mention about our previous published papers and stuffs?

You can mention at last in bullet points. I used to mention my gpa, scores, and published paper in bullet points at last. Will be easier to get noticed.

Email lots of professors that’s the only thing you can do. It ll increase chances
If you change your surname based on marriage can you write ur current surname on the letter since it is different from the one on your certificate

I think the name should be same as in the passport because that’s the one main document here. But you can do more search to make sure.
should i start emailing before my transcript release and before taking gre and ielts?...what if they ask the scores??

So when writing the mail you included the research paper of the respective professor and your interest in it, making every mail different from one another? Gosh! harek professor ko research paper anusar afno mail change garera lekhna wild time lagyo holata

Yes I did include research of every professor but you don’t have to go through it in detail. Just go through it briefly, will be faster and easier. You can prepare some drafts according to subjects and use the same template except some details.

You should start emailing professors way before applying to Uni because it may take time and lot of patience. It’s better to plan about 9-10 months prior. Best wishes

@@Warfarin337 you don’t need while emailing however some professors might ask gpa. You will need certificate to apply to uni.
