With Eminem...if you want to understand where he's coming from....it's best to start with his first album & work from there. He refers to lyrics from previous songs.... his life is literally on wax from the beginning to present. #1- Infinite...#2-Slim Shady LP....etc

This was a long time ago. He considers himself the best now and although his music may have connected to people back in the day more, he is more technical and lyrical now than any rapper ever. His newest album from 2021 Music to be Murdered By side A and B is 🔥🔥

So he was easily top 5 22 years ago.. And still in latest releases having to diss that he's not in Nelly's top 4 but easily on 20 years must be top 2 if not the best.
