This movie was panned, but I love it. The robots parallel real life in terms of how set our system is. Police and government workers are portrayed as robots, because they act like robots. They're cogs in a machine that perpetuates the status quo.

Will one thing to note is that AI is getting advance and smarter almost everyday. so implenting powerful AI to robots to move around like that you see in the movie isn't far fetch. I'll say 2030 or 2040, but they'll be used in factories like Amazon for example, and then maybe working at Walmart as a clerk, lol. Mass produced robots will be aimed to help people with disability and seniors which is more a probability.
