Elysium Exoskeleton costume all-metal build

This is a replica of the exoskeleton costume from the movie Elysium (2013), built for realistic cosplay with mechanical parts created by CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and investment casting in a home-made foundry.
It's a "fake-real" prop that lends cosplay some realistic dimension and weight, for those that don't like playing around with plastic or foam props that feel "fake".

The suit is a near-copy of the one used in the movie, which means that it can never "work", since it was built from ground-up only to look cool. The parts are not physically attached to each other in a way that could be used to lift or push anything.

@@Cyber_Monke Except that’s literally impossible, a bears bite force can literally crack a bowling ball. There’s no suit at the moment that we could build that would allow us to take a bear in a fight.

You have no pulling systems. Great design! You can really use the hydraulics to help you push. And definitely room for pulling machines. Like with the fingers, I’d imagine they’d be on the inside like our tendons are. Have you thought of running blades? If you build platforms on them to stand on they end up bearing a lot of the weight. You could do balance things. Great work! I hope you get to do superhuman things! Believe in yourself! Keep going! What matters most is the maneuverability and ease of manipulation doing normal movements. You nailed it! Post more iterations!

This one is built as a prop, simply because the way the bone mechanics are setup could not possibly work in real life. To make a real exosuit I would have to start from scratch
